The Product Innovation team shapes, surprises and engineers delight into the future guest experience through advanced innovation principles. We go beyond classic research and development methodologies into the realm of possibility for both body and mind within all of the places that our guests & lululemon choose to play together.

core responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Innovation Management serves as the central hub for strategy, operations, and thought partnership across the early-stage Innovation & Athlete Performance Portfolios. This role mobilizes a diverse ecosystem of researchers, creatives, academics, start-ups, and cross-functional partners to transform nascent ideas into innovation concepts that are valuable, viable, and holistically considered. Their remit spans early-stage research and high-performance athlete needs through the critical transition phase of maturing concepts-advancing initiatives that drive the brand forward and fuel product innovation, global marketing, and pinnacle activations. This role bridges high-level portfolio oversight with the agile, detail-oriented management required to bring an idea to life. As a solutions-oriented leader, the Senior Manager navigates ambiguity with creative problem-solving, energizing and aligning teams to translate abstract possibilities into tangible outcomes that enable the success of the Product Innovation function.
  • Lead and develop team members
  • Manage human insights, applied scientific research, make, and raw material creation through a wide array of techniques
  • Deliver understandable, translatable, and immersive evaluations of products and technologies supporting the business in strategic decision making
  • Communicate expertise through analytical methods in exploring how guests interact with products in relevant environments leading to a prolific output of potential value propositions for our guests
  • Determine how and where to scale innovation and be accountable to maintaining the integrity and intention of those innovations
qualifications
  • A degree in management, sport science, business, merchandising, or relevant operational field
  • You have 12+ years experience influencing product creation, business thinking and unlocking new knowledge. MUST have experience in Innovation Management

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$167,400-219,700 CADannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
