Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Procurement to lead and execute procurement activities supporting our operations organization. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for driving sourcing strategy, vendor management, and cost optimization across operational categories.
The ideal candidate brings a strong background in procurement supporting operational environments (e.g., data centers, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar) and is comfortable operating both strategically and tactically.
Key Responsibilities:Procurement Strategy & Execution- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with operational and business goals
- Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFx, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value beyond price (efficiency, quality, risk reduction)
Operations Support- Partner closely with operations teams to understand demand, timelines, and service requirements
- Support procurement for operational categories such as infrastructure, equipment, maintenance services, and related spend
- Ensure timely and reliable support to meet operational needs
Project Management- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement projects, including sourcing initiatives, vendor onboarding, and offshore transitions, ensuring delivery against timelines, scope, and business objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear tracking and reporting to ensure successful execution and continuous improvement
Vendor & Stakeholder Management- Build and manage relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Establish supplier performance metrics and drive accountability
- Act as a trusted advisor to operations leadership
Contracting & Commercial Management- Lead contract negotiations including pricing, SLAs, and commercial terms
- Ensure contracts align with risk, compliance, and business requirements
- Monitor contract performance and manage renewals
Process & Continuous Improvement- Improve procurement processes to increase efficiency and scalability
- Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making
- Support implementation of procurement tools and best practices
QualificationsRequired- 8-12+ years of procurement/sourcing experience
- Strong experience supporting operations-focused procurement
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end sourcing and supplier negotiations
- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
Preferred- Experience in data center, infrastructure, manufacturing, or similar operational environments
- Familiarity with categories such as:
- Data center equipment (electrical, mechanical equipment)
- Facilities
- Technical services or infrastructure vendors
- Experience with procurement systems
