Full Job Description
Analog Devices Federal LLC is looking for an experienced Process Engineering Sr. Manager responsible for improving and maintaining processes in the manufacture of complex microwave and millimeter wave electronic modules.

As a Senior Process Engineering Manager, you will manage a team that is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining assembly manufacturing processes of complex integrated module assemblies to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. The Engineering team is responsible for monitoring and controlling component and module product performance; managing tool productivity and maintenance; conducting data analysis to improve processes, developing and implementing statistical process controls, providing sustaining engineering support of unit processes and disposition of material, and managing and driving continuous improvement activities. This is a highly technical management position that requires strong leadership skills as we expand our product portfolio and execute a Lean factory transformation.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Managing and expanding the Process Engineering team to meet the operational and business requirements
  • Focusing on improving processes and product quality, yield, cost, and performance in the manufacturing assembly area for microelectronic components & modules.
  • Developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to support scaling to high volume production.
  • Standardizing manufacturing processes and procedures in computer-aided manufacturing system (MES)
  • Troubleshooting Process and Equipment manufacturing issues and implementing robust corrective actions
  • Disposition of production materials on hold and taking action to troubleshoot process and equipment issues for predicable operations.
  • Partner with the NPI Engineering team to implement new processes and programs in support new product integration.
  • Collaborate with design staff to develop new processes and ensure compatibility with current processing methods.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects to minimize processing issues and improve productivity.
  • Oversee the specification, installation, and qualification of new equipment to meet the capacity needs of the factory.
  • Lead the Technical Review Board (TRB) forum


Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen / Secret security clearance (or ability to acquire one)
  • BS/MS in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering, Physics, Material Science, or related technical discipline
  • 10+ years of management experience in electronics assembly and manufacturing including wirebonding, die attach, lead forming, and surface mount technologies
  • Extensive knowledge of RF Integrated Module Assembly procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of MIL Standards and requirements
  • Experience with automated wirebond, die attach, hermetic sealing, and environmental screening processes and equipment
  • Strong analytical mind with problem solving skills.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams; customers; internal and external partners.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $148,800 to $204,600.
  • Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
  • This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.
  • This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
