Full Job Description
You will be working directly with leading private equity and hedge fund firms in the alternative asset industry under the guidance and direction from our experienced team of industry veterans. You will be facilitating our service offering by assisting, performing, and reviewing the following:
What you'll do
• You'll support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring deliverables align with limited partnership agreements and client expectations
• You'll manage and review complex financial components, including journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls/distributions, fee and carried interest calculations, and waterfall models
• You'll oversee the preparation and delivery of financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules, and investor notices, while coordinating with auditors and tax teams during year-end processes
• You'll assess and enhance operational processes, handle routine and ad-hoc client requests, and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
• You'll train and mentor junior team members, fostering development while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness

• The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($100,000 - $135,000)
Qualifications
• You bring 15 plus years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a combination of alternative asset investment and public accounting roles.
• You possess strong analytical and technical skills, with proven proficiency in accounting and administration for alternative investment funds.
• You have a Bachelor' degree in Accounting, and have demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• You consistently deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and provide exceptional client service.
• You are proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Investran, and communicate effectively in professional, collaborative environments.
