Full Job Description
This role is Hybrid out of either our Shelton, CT or NYC office

Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Price Strategy Governance is responsible for ensuring effective implementation, enforcement of pricing strategies and policies and competitive price monitoring within the market. This role acts as a critical bridge between commercial strategy and execution, driving pricing discipline, margin optimization, and compliance across sales channels, while actively tracking competitor pricing actions to protect market position. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with business acumen and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.

Universal Accountabilities

Pricing Policy Governance & Compliance
  • Own and enforce in-market Pricing Strategy across all channels (except 3P activity)
  • Monitor compliance of Price Guidelines and escalate deviations or risks
  • Track and report out market compliance and violations. Provide perspective if pricing strategies should be revisited given marketplace observations
  • Build and maintain price benchmarks repository and price index tracking violations
  • Own and enforce EPC policy compliance, specifically Pricing, Distributors and Sun Care Return policy.

Competitive Pricing Intelligence & Market Tracking
  • Track and analyze competitor pricing across key SKUs, channels, and retailers
  • Monitor promotional activity, price pack architecture, and discounting behavior of competitors
  • Build and maintain competitive price benchmarks and price index tracking vs. key competitors
  • Provide timely insights and alerts on competitive pricing actions and market shifts
  • Partner with commercial teams to recommend tactical responses to competitor moves

Analytics & Reporting
  • Develop dashboards and reporting for pricing KPIs
  • Provide actionable insights to Sales and Category teams
  • Leverage third party platform (I20 tool) as single source of truth and commercial reporting. Establish relationships and work closely with I20 account management team.

  • Potential project work can be assigned as needed (example: assist on Sun No Returns execution)


Required Skills and Experience
  • 4-year college degree
  • Minimum 5 years' direct sales, sales operations, customer development or marketing experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to independently structure and lead complex analyses
  • Working knowledge of syndicated data (Circana, Customer POS, RGM tools like Sequoya a plus)
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills

The salary range for this position is $136,000-$200,000. Compensation for this position varies based on a range of equal opportunity factors, including but not limited to role scope, level of experience, relevant skills, education and credentials, external and internal benchmarks for equivalent roles and experience, business sector, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the specific facts and circumstances of each case. In addition to base salary, the total rewards package may also include, for eligible roles, bonus, and long-term Incentive.
