Full Job Description
A24 is seeking a strategic, results-driven manager to lead the LA Creative Marketing team's paid media operations - spanning asset production, media strategy execution, and campaign analytics across theatrical releases. Ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in paid media ecosystems, from planning and placement to performance analysis, alongside a strong command of emerging ad tech, AI-driven tools, and data-informed decision-making. This role requires a confident leader who can independently drive campaigns from brief to delivery while shaping the broader paid media vision for the team. This position is based in Los Angeles.

Responsibilities
  • Own the full paid media production lifecycle across all campaigns - from creative development through placement, delivery, and post-campaign learnings - spanning formats like display, high-impact takeovers, OOH, programmatic, social, and earned media
  • Bring a strong creative vision and sharp sense of taste, setting the bar for what great work looks like across campaigns and raising the quality of every touchpoint
  • Conceive and execute first-to-market creative campaigns that tell bold stories, connect with audiences, and drive KPIs - bringing a sharp POV and clear creative direction to internal teams, agencies, and external partners
  • Craft compelling creative briefs and presentations that inspire great work and drive alignment and buy-in across stakeholders at all levels
  • Manage freelancers, vendors, and agency partners end-to-end, with the operational rigor to keep simultaneous campaigns on time, on brand, and at a high creative bar
  • Partner closely with media planning and buying teams to crack how creative can work harder across placement, platform, and audience - and translate campaign performance and media insights into sharper creative decisions on future work
  • Apply emerging tools and technologies to unlock new creative possibilities and drive smarter, faster, and more scalable campaign workflows
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with media, post, international, and platform partners, navigating blockers and driving decisions that move campaigns forward
  • Mentor junior team members and establish best practices for production, media operations, and data-informed creative work

Ideal Candidate
  • 6-8 years of experience in paid media, creative marketing, or digital production within film, entertainment, or a related industry
  • Demonstrated expertise across the paid media landscape
  • Working knowledge of ad tech (e.g. DSPs, DCO tools, generative creative applications), with a point of view on where the space is heading
  • Proven track record leading complex, multi-vendor production workflows at scale, with strong creative instincts and a clear POV to develop, articulate, and defend ideas that raise the bar
  • Skilled with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite, and project management platforms (e.g. Airtable, Asana)
  • Deep passion for film marketing and entertainment; strategic, curious, and resourceful, with a drive to push creative and media boundaries

Our target salary range for this role is between $100,000 to $135,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels. Actual starting salary within the range will depend on various considerations, including: work experience, skills, specializations, and training. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus, including both cash and equity components, competitive healthcare, as well as other employee benefits.
