What you will be doing:

The Senior Manager, Organizational Change Management, is a high-impact role for a change leader who can set direction and turn strategy into action. In a fast-paced transformation environment, you will own and deliver end-to-end OCM strategies for Project Clarity - moving quickly from insight and planning to execution, measurement, and continuous improvement. You will partner with leaders and teams across Tangerine, Scotiabank, and third parties to build readiness, accelerate adoption, and deliver measurable employee, client, and shareholder value. Working alongside the Director, Transformation Change Management, you will lead multiple priorities at once and bring together change strategy, communications, learning, stakeholder engagement, creative problem-solving, and disciplined program delivery as Tangerine transitions to its new ways of working.

Is this role right for you? - In this role you will:

Change Strategy Ownership and Delivery:
  • Own the development and delivery of integrated change management strategies and plans for complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Translate transformation objectives into clear, practical roadmaps and move rapidly from strategy to implementation.
  • Manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions with evolving information, and adjust plans to meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead skills assessments, impact analyses, readiness assessments, and stakeholder mapping to identify risks, opportunities, and targeted interventions.
  • Design and deliver change plans spanning communications, learning, leadership engagement, employee readiness, and adoption support.
  • Establish measures and feedback loops, use data to assess progress, and take decisive action to improve outcomes.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across Tangerine, Scotiabank, and third parties while navigating ambiguity and competing priorities.
  • Proactively identify and remove barriers, maintain momentum, and hold workstreams accountable for timely delivery.
  • Champion a client-obsessed, inclusive culture that values experimentation, learning, trust, and continuous improvement.


Communication and Training:
  • Own and execute communication strategies that keep stakeholders informed, engaged, and ready to act throughout the change journey.
  • Create compelling, high-quality communications across formats-including videos, podcasts, graphics, newsletters, FAQs, and live events-using a creative fintech lens to drive engagement.
  • Partner with subject-matter experts to design and deliver practical learning and enablement that accelerates adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery, producing polished materials and experiences at the pace of the transformation.


Measurement and Reporting:
  • Define success measures, maintain an OCM metrics dashboard, and provide clear, executive-ready reporting on readiness, adoption, risks, and outcomes.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to identify issues early, recommend action, and continuously improve the change approach.
  • Lead retrospectives and post-implementation reviews, turning lessons learned into practical improvements for future delivery.


Risk Management
  • Understand how the company's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Ensure the adequacy, adherence to, and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, and conduct risk.

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in change management, with a focus on transformational execution.
  • 5+ years of strategy and change execution experience.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Measurement and Reporting: Proficiency in developing and implementing metrics to measure change management effectiveness.
  • Positive and Resilient Personality: A positive and resilient personality with the ability to embrace feedback and a desire for continuous iteration and improvement.
  • Self-Guided and Fast Learner: Comfortable working in a self-guided manner and a fast learner with an appetite to understand both simple and complex financial solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the technology and/or other fast-paced industries.
  • Change management certification (ProSci, CCMP, CMS, APMG or similar)
