Compensation for this role is $100,000 - 150,000 The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

As a Senior Manager, Operations Support at RXO, you'll create a highly engaged workforce that continuously performs improvement activities. You'll coach and mentor your team to ensure that all responsibilities are performed in alignment with the company's values and within the framework of RXO's Lean Operating System. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Oversee operations of NYC Same Day.
  • Cross-Account Collaboration/Support for Dedicated Operations
  • Lead/direct all support functions of the distribution center, including site safety and security, administration, quality/continuous improvement, quality management, maintenance and training
  • Lead the site's safety program to ensure all safety procedures comply with company policies, as well as local, state and federal rules and regulations; advise Operations on safety concerns and preventive actions
  • Oversee all peak planning and new initiatives developed by the customer
  • Provide operations team support to ensure service-level standards and contractual customer obligations are met
  • Identify growth opportunities with current customers by promoting enhanced service and/or cost savings to the customer; partner with site leadership in customer visits, conference calls and problem-solving efforts
  • Track, record and maintain quality data; monitor operations and quality processes and troubleshoot issues
  • Drive cost savings and change management by ensuring all major initiatives are planned, documented, communicated, coordinated and validated to provide uniform execution, team understanding and buy-in
  • Communicate with the customer to establish goals and objectives for project teams, scheduling and coordinating resources to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Lead the training team to develop peak strategy, ensure all new hires meet expectations and provide continuous education to existing team members on process improvements and new procedures
  • Partner across all accounts to align and document processes, share best practices, and drive consistency.
  • Support markets that are under "Action Plan/Cure"
  • Partner with RXO and Client Project Management to ensure ownership from start up to steady state for all new business
  • Maintain clear, forward-looking communication with stakeholders to surface risks, opportunities, and priorities early.


At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience
  • Experience in lean manufacturing principles
  • Proven working experience in project management and problem solving


It'd be great if you also have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field or equivalent related work or military experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and with computerized scanner equipment
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
  • Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to coach and mentor in a fast-paced environment
