As a Senior Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer & Community Banking 6 Cash and Check Management Tech Team, you serve in a leadership role, providing technical coaching and advisory while anticipating the needs and potential dependencies of other functions across the firm.

Cash and Check Management Product delivers technology, process, and controls to support our customers and clients seamlessly across these distinct money movement mechanisms. We are modernizing end-to-end processing in AWS using micro frontend and microservice architecture, and we are committed to our transformation journey 6 building innovative, scalable, AI-enabled solutions that are best-in-class. Job Responsibilities

  • Own the technical integrity and quality of the teams delivery, partnering with Architects on design and with the team on breaking down and estimating complex work

  • Ensure development quality is tracked and continuously improved through practices like unit testing, peer review, and automated remediation of recurring issues

  • Mentor team members to progress their technical and professional skills, and build a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect

  • Partner with product and business leaders, aligning roadmaps and securing cross-functional buy-in with clear data and trade-offs; frame complex technology and risk topics as business impact for executive audiences

  • Lead cross-team delivery and change through ambiguity, resolving conflict and raising engineering standards for design, reliability, and security
