Full Job Description
The Position

The Senior Manager of Membership & Progress Engagement designs and runs the NovoCare membership and progress-engagement programs, meaning the points, rewards, milestones, and behavioral mechanics that recognize healthy behaviors and keep consumers engaged over time, built inside strict AKS and compliance guardrails and never tied to prescription fills. The role, internally known as the Sr. Loyalty and Progress Engagement Manager, is responsible for the program's design, its economics, and its day-to-day operation.

Relationships

Reports to the Director of NovoCare Brand & Consumer Membership. This is an individual-contributor role that manages membership platform and rewards vendors; it has no direct reports. Works with CRM, product and mobile, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Finance, brand teams, and Insights & Analytics.

Essential Functions
  • Membership Program Design: Design the NovoCare membership program, including its membership tiers, mechanics, and value proposition, inside strict compliance guardrails.
  • Points and Rewards Economy: Define and manage the points and rewards economy, balancing consumer motivation with financial sustainability.
  • Progress and Milestone Mechanics: Design progress, milestone, and recognition mechanics that re-ward healthy behaviors and sustain engagement.
  • Behavioral Engagement: Apply behavioral and engagement principles to encourage healthy actions, with no link to prescription fills.
  • Compliance Guardrails: Work closely with Legal and Compliance to keep the program inside AKS and all applicable requirements at all times.
  • Partner and Vendor Management: Manage loyalty platform and rewards partners to deliver and run the program.
  • Measurement and Optimization: Measure loyalty performance against engagement and retention goals and keep optimizing.


Physical Requirements

20-30 % overnight travel required and based out of our Plainsboro, NJ HQ.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics or related field; master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in loyalty, rewards, gamification, or consumer engagement program design
  • Track record designing and running loyalty or engagement programs and their economics
  • Familiarity with compliance and privacy requirements in a regulated industry valued
  • Strong analytical skills and a test-and-learn mindset
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills


The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $171,000. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance. Novo Nordisk offers long-term incentive compensation and or company vehicles depending on the position's level or other company factors.
