Job Description:Biosense Webster Inc, part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is now hiring a Sr Manager New Product Introduction, for our Irvine, California campus.
The Sr Manager New Product Introduction will be responsible for leading new product development initiatives and portfolio management as well as leading Value Stream related activities.
The Sr Manager New Product Introduction will work closely with other functions within Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial, Quality and Regulatory across the organization to develop strategies to achieve business objectives and provide governance through effective prioritization and allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals.
The Sr Manager New Product Introduction will be responsible for execution of programs and projects to fulfill business objectives and to ensure robust and reliable supply of products to our customers.
The Sr Manager New Product Introduction will facilitate transfer of products from R&D to NPI. In addition, lead End to End / Lifecycle activities in support of manufacturing operations efforts and strategies that best support our customers.
Key Role Responsibilities- Responsible for ensuring seamless launch of new products into commercial markets.
- Establish, govern and implement strategies, programs and projects to support on-time quality supply of BWI products.
- Responsible for leading all aspects of execution of operations / manufacturing project plans through close collaboration with other functions across the organization
- Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines Sr Manager New Product Introduction will:
- Lead Supply Chain Readiness and stage gate reviews for new product introductions
- Developing and updating Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) financial models for new products
- Ensuring established product stability metrics are achieved
- Lead Product End to End (E2E) processes
- Developing the End to End (E2E) product's supply chain strategy in alignment with the Commercial strategy
- Ensuring optimization of the End to End (E2E) supply chain performance
- Prioritizing strategic projects and managing approval of projects within LCM governance process
- Assessing, identifying, and managing complexity reduction opportunities
- Ensuring effective connectivity to regional and functional sub-teams, to R&D, and to Commercial partners
- Providing and communicating plans to achieve specific strategic objectives prioritized by the Product Strategy
- Ensuring that the overall supply chain network is optimized for the future Value Chain segments and customer needs
- Ensuring that partners are aware and aligned with product strategy, current product performance, and strategic project status
- Management of product/production issues which threaten supply continuity and customer satisfaction
- Lead Supply Chain Engineering activities that relate to commercialized products to support on-time quality supply
- Lead and manage projects to support business objectives
- Manages day-to-day program activities as they relate to specific BWI products, overall projects resourcing and projects budget spending. Manage cross-functional project teams across supply chain to ensure execution
- Develop new processes and procedures to support new introductions and new strategies aligned to Supply Chain objectives
- Development project business cases and appropriate prioritization of activities and projects for the product lifecycle
- Develop and roll out processes related to integrating Supply Chain concepts to the overall product lifecycle process
- Build close working relationships across different function to promote supply chain strategies, goals and objectives both internally as well as with external suppliers
QUALIFICATIONS- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. MS/MBA is preferred.
Required Skills- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required
- Relevant experience in Supply Chain related role is required.
- Experience in leading teams (both direct and indirect) is required.
- Creative & decisive problem-solving skills, customer focus (internal & external), ability to adapt to meet rapidly changing priorities, and sound reasoning skills are required.
- A demonstrated ability to work in team environment with focus on internal and external relationship development is required.
- Good communication skills with ability to present complex information is required
- Able to prioritize requests, and propose effective alternatives when necessary is required
- Knowledge in common project management tools and processes and being able to demonstrate these in broad range of business settings is required
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Experience in Project Management
- Business and financial acumen
Preferred Skills- Experience in regulated industries is required. Medical Device or Healthcare industry is preferred.
- Experience in establishing new processes and production capabilities is preferred
The anticipated base pay range for this position is :$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
