Role Description

Lead the Future of Dermatology Sales at LEO Pharma.

Your Role:

Lead the sales team to achieve sales growth and profit objectives through full optimization of resources and developing people.

This is a field-based role, covering our Western Canada region. Please note that the ideal candidate for this position must be bilingual (English/French).

Your Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Control

  • Prepare budget proposals for Dermatology Sales Division promotional spend and support forecasting to ensure alignment with revenue objectives.

  • Control expenditure in line with P&L responsibility and justify budget proposals and ROI on regional plans.

  • Lead the development and execution of regional business plans aligned with Marketing plans of action.


Data & Analytics

  • Provide monthly updates on sales and growth performance across Canada

  • Assess sales data (TSA, GPM, X-Ponent, In-Market/X-Factory) to generate insights and drive initiatives.


  • Apply strong analytical assessment and ROI-driven decision making in activity planning.


Leadership of Sales Team

  • Define, develop, and lead a high performance sales team across Canada.

  • Monitor sales performance and coach and mentor field representatives.

  • Evaluate team capabilities and lead development and performance planning.

  • Establish consistent operating norms across communication, collaboration, and national meetings.

  • Responsible for supporting cross-functional plans and progress, addressing key issues as they arise and ensuring integration into overall strategy.


Your Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. and/or Business degree.

  • 10+ years pharma experience, preferably in sales, account management, commercial excellence.

  • 5+ years of experience of People Leadership and proven track record of sales and/or account management experience

  • Bilingual in English and French strongly preferred.

  • Experience in dermatology and marketing experience is an asset.

  • Experience in strategic planning, product launches, and adapting corporate strategies to local markets along with the ability to influence in a complex organization.

  • Expertise in sales resource planning, targeting, segmentation, and performance monitoring across KPIs.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel. Requires frequent business travel (up to 60% of the time) with a valid Driver's License


You demonstrate a strong drive for results with a strategic mindset and sound decision-making. You collaborate effectively across teams, communicate with clarity, and build trust in a complex environment. With a focus on developing talent, you lead with accountability and a strong customer focus.

Your New Team:

You will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional commercial team, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical, Patient Access, and MSL partners to drive aligned strategies and stakeholder engagement across Canada. You will also collaborate with cross-functional and North American teams, including Sales Analytics, to support planning, performance tracking, and overall business execution.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $155,000 per year. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the LEO Pharma range for this position. Salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
