YOUR MISSIONYou will lead a team of high-performing full-cycle AEs responsible for new logo acquisition, PLG conversion, and early-stage account expansion within the Mid-Market segment.
You will help your team execute Mural's Buyer-Aligned Sales Process and coach reps through complex multi-threaded deals, improve forecast accuracy, and create repeatable pipeline generation strategies that drive predictable growth.
This role requires a strong operator and coach who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment and can balance strategic leadership with tactical execution.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Lead, mentor, and develop AE team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Provide guidance on sales strategies, customer engagement, and pipeline management.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set and implement sales strategies that align with Mural's growth objectives, ensuring efficient prospecting, outreach, and consultative selling approaches.
- Track and assess team performance through key metrics and KPIs. Regularly review individual and team progress against goals, providing coaching to optimize outcomes.
- Work closely with Account Managers, Customer Success Managers, and Marketing to ensure coordinated customer interactions and optimize lead generation and conversion.
- Develop and refine processes for AEs, including prospecting, outreach, and pipeline management, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING- 5+ years of experience in sales with 2+ years of people management experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Coaching mindset: you invest in developing people, give direct and actionable feedback, and know how to tailor your approach to where each rep is in their growth
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on driving results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building and nurturing customer and internal team relationships.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools; familiarity with Pocus, Drift, and similar tools is a plus.
- Background in visual collaboration software or related technologies is preferred.
The base salary + variable pay for this role ranges from $260,000 - $350,000 + benefits. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
