Role Overview

North Horizon is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager, Trust Administration to support the oversight of trust and estate structures and related governance matters. This role will be accountable for ensuring trust arrangements are administered in accordance with fiduciary obligations, legal requirements and long-term wealth preservation objectives.

The role will act as a key advisor to senior leadership, supporting decision-making on trust-related matters and coordinating across internal stakeholders and external advisors. The successful candidate will bring strong technical capability, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to translate complex trust and tax considerations into practical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Trust Oversight & Governance

  • Support end-to-end administration and oversight of trust structures, ensuring compliance with legal, fiduciary, and regulatory requirements
  • Interpret trust documentation and support execution in line with defined objectives
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of governance frameworks, reporting cadence and control processes
  • Identify, monitor and escalate key risks as appropriate


Strategic Advisory

  • Advise senior leadership on trust structuring, distributions and related strategic considerations
  • Provide clear, practical input to support long-term planning and decision-making
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of trust and tax legislation, regulatory changes and structuring best practices to inform proactive governance and planning decisions.


Stakeholder & Advisor Coordination

  • Manage relationships across internal legal, tax, risk and other key stakeholders, as well as external fiduciary advisors
  • Coordinate input to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational priorities
  • Support oversight of advisor mandates, scope and performance where applicable


Tax & Structuring Oversight

  • Support tax efficiency and compliance of trust structures in collaboration with external advisors
  • Assist with monitoring of filings, disclosures and regulatory obligations


Alignment with Investments & Finance
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment between trust structures and investment strategy
  • Maintain visibility into trust-level financial activity and exposures

Operational Leadership
  • Support administration of trust records, documentation and reporting accuracy
  • Strengthen processes to support efficiency, control and audit readiness

Qualifications & Experience
