The LinkedIn Monetization team is looking for a Senior Manager, Monetization Strategy to accelerate growth and strengthen go-to-market and product strategy for our business. This individual will lead key initiatives including crafting new business models, optimizing pricing and packaging strategies for existing and future offerings, improving the execution of pricing strategies, and evolving LinkedIn's global pricing policies. They will collaborate with business partners across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product, and Operations to move these initiatives from strategy through execution.
We're looking for a strategic thinker who enjoys owning high-impact initiatives end-to-end, from framing ambiguous problems and developing hypotheses through analysis, stakeholder alignment, implementation, and performance measurement. You'll need strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing. This role requires sharp problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and comfort navigating complex decisions that impact our go-to-market strategy and commercial success.
Responsibilities
- Independently drive or execute high-complexity monetization initiatives, proactively identifying hypotheses, framing problem statements, and planning resources and timelines for launch.
- Independently identify strategic pricing and packaging initiatives that meaningfully improve revenue and influence the product roadmap by integrating deep business context, value drivers, and expected financial outcomes.
- Evaluate GTM readiness for global or regional initiatives, surfacing insights, aligning cross-functional partners, and socializing recommendations with senior leadership.
- Develop advanced, evidence-based recommendations to improve pricing program activation, field execution, financial performance, or revenue growth using multi-method research.
- Define, track, and communicate success metrics for pricing programs, including forecasting deals, ensuring accurate KPI reporting, and maintaining a clear understanding of business performance.
- Build strong partnerships with Strategic Finance, Product, Sales Operations, Sales, Deal Desk, and GTM teams, obtaining alignment on pricing impacts, resource needs, and program execution requirements.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications- 6+ years of experience in pricing, monetization, product strategy, management consulting, strategic finance, or another strategic and analytical role.
- Experience independently leading complex pricing, packaging, monetization, or GTM initiatives from problem framing through implementation and performance measurement.
- Experience using financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and customer or market research to identify growth opportunities, evaluate trade-offs, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience defining success metrics, forecasting financial or commercial outcomes, and using performance data to guide decisions.
- Experience distilling complex ideas for senior executive audiences and influencing cross-functional partners across Product, Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.
- BA/BS degree in economics, management science, business, applied math, statistics, finance, analytics or related discipline, or related practical experience.
Preferred Skills- Experience developing pricing and packaging strategies for B2B software, platform, marketplace, or subscription businesses.
- Experience applying research and experimentation methods such as A/B testing, conjoint analysis, willingness-to-pay research, or other qualitative and quantitative approaches.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience applying AI tools to accelerate research, analysis, operational workflows, or decision-making.
- Familiarity with emerging monetization models, including usage-, consumption-, or outcome-based pricing.

The pay range for this role is $131,000 to $212,000 Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
