Full Job Description
Okta's Corporate Development team plays a critical role in enabling Okta's growth through the thoughtful ideation and execution of corporate strategy, M&A, technology partnerships, external investments, and strategic programs. The M&A Integration & Strategic Programs team is a small team of high performing individuals who pride themselves in creating an outsized impact on the company by owning the successful integration strategy, governance and execution of acquired companies as well as the strategic program design and execution of key Corporate Development initiatives. As a Senior Manager, M&A Integration & Strategic Programs, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end deal integration process and program management for high-complexity programs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive program execution, track deliverables, and provide critical insights to ensure initiatives achieve their goals. This is a highly visible role requiring conceptual thinking to resolve significant and unique issues. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive problem solver with a proven track record of driving complex cross-functional projects while maintaining an efficient plan, tracking issues, and proactively communicating progress against program milestones. This person will also need to be adept at building close working relationships and quickly establishing personal credibility across the organization. Given the extremely cross-functional nature of the role, the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a variety of teams and personalities is essential. What you'll be doing • Strategy: Drive the development of program and integration strategy, providing thought leadership on broader organizational projects. • End-to-End Execution: Drive the end-to-end deal integration process for acquired companies, high-complexity programs and / or key workstreams by developing detailed plans, tracking milestones, and proactively addressing challenges. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate and direct the activities of cross-functional teams, ensuring operational readiness and alignment across the organization. • Stakeholder Excellence: Manage top executive stakeholders, maintaining excellence across program meetings and recurring syncs. • Issue Resolution: Monitor program status and rapidly identify issues / risks. Succinctly communicate issues to relevant stakeholders and proactively collaborate to ensure timely resolution. • Continuous Improvement: Update team playbooks and best practices based on documented learnings and specialized expertise. • AI Fluency & Efficiency: Deep fluency in leveraging AI tools and automation on a daily basis to optimize workflows, accelerate program delivery, and drive maximum operational efficiency. What you'll bring to the role • 8-12+ years of experience in strategy / management consulting, business operations, corporate development, or related roles. • Demonstrated experience supporting M&A integration or complex cross-functional initiatives. • Practical expertise in enterprise software / B2B SaaS industry and/or previous high-growth operations or startup experience is a plus. • Exceptional written and oral communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization. Able to convey complex ideas in a strategic and concise fashion. • Track record of building trusted relationships with cross-functional leaders. • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts across a wide variety of technologies and domains. • Experience using AI tools or automation to streamline operational processes. • Bachelor's degree required. #LI-KC4 #LI-Hybrid Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
