Full Job Description
As the Sr. Manager, Retail Marketing, you will serve in an individual contributor capacity, leading the strategy, planning, execution, measurement, and optimization of marketing campaigns that support the Workplace Retail Extension strategy. You will own audience-centric approaches designed to educate and engage participants, deepen relationships across the participant lifecycle, generate Retail prospects, and drive meaningful digital activity. Your work will connect Workplace participant channels with established Retail marketing efforts, extend relevant firmwide campaigns and offers to Workplace audiences, and help create a more seamless path from engagement to action.

 

What you'll do:

 

  • Serve as a strategic marketing partner and liaison across Workplace, Retail, and the broader Marketing organization.
  • Leverage cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management, you will align partners across Product and Segment Marketing, Foundational Marketing, Client Experience, Creative and Agency teams, Deployment, Digital, Analytics, Legal, and Compliance around shared goals.
  • Bring participant and audience insights into campaign strategy, identify opportunities for broader business impact, and influence decisions without direct authority.
  • Using Campaign Analytics and Performance Metrics, define measures of success, establish and monitor key performance indicators, and translate results into clear stories and recommendations.
  • Evaluate participant engagement, relationship growth, and asset consolidation outcomes to identify opportunities for campaign optimization and future growth.
  • Present strategies, performance, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations to senior marketing and business leaders with clarity and Executive Presence.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • 8+ years of marketing experience in an in-house or agency environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, complex initiatives with a high degree of autonomy
  • Proven ability to translate business goals into integrated Campaign Strategy and measurable outcomes
  • Demonstrated Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships, align competing priorities, and influence outcomes without direct authority
  • Strong Strategic Thinking, Problem Solving, and Decision Making skills, with the ability to evaluate trade-offs and advance work in ambiguous or complex business environments
  • Strong Executive Presence and experience presenting strategies, performance, risks, and recommendations to senior business and marketing leaders
  • Experience using Campaign Analytics and Performance Metrics to measure results, communicate impact, and recommend optimizations
  • Ability to travel on a limited, occasional basis

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Marketing experience within financial services or another highly regulated industry
  • Experience developing audience-centric marketing strategies across the customer or participant lifecycle
  • Experience connecting audiences with integrated digital marketing campaigns, products, offers, or educational content
  • Knowledge of Consumer Behavior Analysis and its application to participant education, engagement, and relationship growth
  • Experience partnering with Legal and Compliance teams to manage marketing reviews, required updates, and Risk Management considerations
  • Ability to combine Strategic Thinking with hands-on Campaign Execution while adapting to changing priorities and new information
  • Strong Communication skills, including the ability to translate complex ideas, results, and recommendations into clear and persuasive messages for varied audiences
