Coke Florida is searching for a Human Resource Compliance and Operations Manager to work out of our Tampa based HQ location. This position works Monday through Friday.What you'll do:The HR Compliance and Operations Manager is responsible for leading Human Resources compliance, governance, operational excellence, HR systems administration, people data management, and workforce reporting across the organization. This role serves as the organization's subject matter expert for HR compliance, HR operational effectiveness, and HR technology administration, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations while driving continuous process improvement, audit readiness, operational efficiency, and data integrity.
The position partners closely with HR leaders, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Payroll, Legal, Risk Management, Finance, and operational leaders to develop scalable HR processes, strengthen governance practices, and deliver an exceptional associate experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:HR Compliance & Risk Management
- Lead and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee HR compliance programs, including I-9 administration, EEO reporting, labor law postings, unemployment claims, employment records management, background checks, and policy governance.
- Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations, FLSA classifications, records retention requirements, and other employment compliance obligations.
- Design and execute recurring audits and reporting processes, including employee data audits, policy attestations, delegation management, payroll and overtime reviews, employment status audits, and compliance monitoring activities.
- Maintain and manage the annual HR compliance calendar, ensuring all regulatory reporting and compliance deadlines are met.
- Track audit findings and remediation activities to ensure timely resolution and reduce organizational risk.
- Partner with Legal and Risk Management teams on audits, investigations, subpoenas, records requests, and compliance matters.
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement process and policy updates to maintain ongoing compliance.
- Support the development, implementation, and governance of HR policies, procedures, controls, and standard operating procedures.
HR Operations
- Lead HR operational processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, job changes, promotions, transfers, leaves of absence, organizational changes, and offboarding.
- Standardize and optimize HR workflows to drive efficiency, consistency, accuracy, and service excellence.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve HR process documentation, SOPs, and operational controls.
- Partner with HR Centers of Excellence and business leaders to ensure a seamless employee experience across all HR processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve service delivery through automation, simplification, and process redesign.
HR Systems & Data Governance
- Serve as the primary business owner and strategic partner for HR technology platforms, including Dayforce HRIS, workflow management tools, and related HR systems.
- Lead HR system administration, system enhancements, testing, implementations, upgrades, and change management activities.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and compliance across all HR technology platforms, including Dayforce, MyInterview, HireRight, SAP, and future systems.
- Establish and maintain HR data governance standards, controls, audit procedures, and data quality metrics.
- Monitor and improve employee data quality through ongoing audits, reconciliation processes, and reporting reviews.
- Partner with IT and HR technology teams to optimize system functionality and support business requirements.
Reporting, Analytics & Workforce Insights
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards, scorecards, metrics, and reporting solutions.
- Analyze workforce trends related to headcount, turnover, hiring, retention, compliance, and engagement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations that support workforce planning and business decision-making.
- Establish metrics that measure HR operational effectiveness, compliance performance, and data quality.
- Present workforce data and analytics to leadership teams and key stakeholders in a meaningful and business-focused manner.
Continuous Improvement & Project Management
- Lead HR process improvement initiatives using continuous improvement methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes and leverage technology-driven solutions.
- Manage cross-functional HR projects, system implementations, operational initiatives, and change management efforts.
- Support organizational transformation initiatives and future HR technology enhancements.
- Drive operational excellence through process automation, performance measurement, and workflow optimization.
Leadership & Partnership
- Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Payroll, Legal, Risk Management, Finance, and operational leaders.
- Provide guidance and coaching on HR compliance, data governance, and HR operational best practices.
- Influence stakeholders across the organization to drive accountability and compliance.
- Lead, mentor, coach, and develop HR Operations team members and future shared services resources, as applicable.
- Foster a culture of accountability, compliance, continuous improvement, customer service, and operational excellence.
For this role, you will need:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
- Minimum 6-8 years of progressive Human Resources experience with significant focus on HR operations, compliance, HRIS administration, workforce administration, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience administering and optimizing Dayforce HRIS
- Experience managing HR audits, employment compliance programs, regulatory reporting, and governance initiatives.
- Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Experience developing HR dashboards, analytics, and workforce reporting solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting multi-site or geographically dispersed organizations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
- Experience with Power BI, workforce analytics platforms, or process automation tools.
- Experience supporting consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or field-based workforces.
- Experience leading HR technology implementations or major system upgrades
