This hybrid position will be located in Titusville, New Jersey (USA). Alternate hybrid locations may be considered at other J&J sites such as: Guaynabo, Puerto Rico or São Paulo, São Paulo (Brazil).

The Senior Manager RPIL for Americas serves as the primary integration point between GPEX and Regional Demand & Supply across the Americas. This role translates global planning strategy into regional execution, brings regional business requirements and insights into global process and technology roadmaps, and drives cross-process priorities across demand and supply planning. This role supports planning capabilities across Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Demand Planning, New Product Introduction (NPI) and Launch Planning, Inventory and Slow-Moving & Obsolete Inventory (SLOB) Management, Planning Performance Management, Supply Network Planning, and related end-to-end planning processes.

The RPIL combines strategic influence with hands-on regional deployment, partnering with Regional Leadership, Regional Directly Responsible Individuals (DRIs), Global Process Managers (GPMs), Business Process Owners (BPOs), Technology Product Owners (TPOs), Key Users (KUs), Learning & Development, Finance, Commercial, JJT, and other partners to deploy global standards, lead region-specific initiatives, handle adoption, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The Americas RPIL support diverse regional, market, operating-model, and capability needs across North America and LATAM while maintaining alignment to global standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Regional Strategy, Integration, & Governance
  • Act as the primary point of contact between GPEX and Americas RDS for regional integration strategies, priorities, and decisions related to planning processes and capabilities.
  • Partner with Regional Leadership and DRIs to shape, prioritize, and maintain an integrated regional process and capability roadmap aligned with global strategy and business priorities.
  • Lead the Americas Regional Council, establishing a clear cadence, agenda, decision log, action tracking, and critical path for planning initiatives, risks, and resource needs.
  • Provide concise, timely insight to regional and global leadership on portfolio status, outcomes, dependencies, risks, decisions, and support required.
  • Represent regional requirements in global governance and planning cycles, while ensuring global standards, design principles, and strategic intent are understood and upheld across the region.
  • Manage cross-process implications and sequencing so that changes are implemented as an integrated business solution rather than as isolated process or technology deployments.

Process & Capability Deployment
  • Collaborate with GPMs, BPOs, TPOs, KUs and Learning & Development to deploy global processes, tools, and capabilities across the Americas, including project kickoff, regional requirements, fit-gap assessment, release planning, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Lead collection and synthesis of regional business requirements and point-of-contact insights; distinguish critical business needs from local preferences and translate them into actionable global or regional requirements.
  • Coordinate regional readiness across stakeholders, resources, data, testing, training, communications, cutover, and adoption while ensuring variances from global standards are documented, governed, risk-assessed, and periodically reviewed.
  • Lead region-specific initiatives that are not intended for global scale, including business justification, governance, deployment, change management, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify region-originated practices or solutions with global value and partner with GPMs to assess scalability, standardization, and transfer into the global roadmap.

Change, Adoption, & Continuous Improvement
  • Build a regional change and adoption strategy for new planning processes, digital products, and ways of working, in partnership with RDS Leadership and functional change networks.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, communications, and best-practice sharing across leadership, practitioners, and key-user communities while creating feedback loops that improve deployment approaches and planning standards.
  • Monitor implementation progress, process adherence, adoption, capability maturity, and realized value; initiate corrective actions where outcomes are at risk.
  • Facilitate best-practice sharing within the Americas and across regions, and create feedback loops that improve global standards and deployment approaches.
  • Participate in business forums and real operating scenarios to understand regional challenges, provide hands-on support, and promote simplification, standardization, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

Communities, Partnerships, & Functional Leadership
  • Connect global Communities of Practice with regional practitioners by sharing regional updates and challenges, collecting feedback, tracking agreed actions, and encouraging active participation.
  • Build trusted relationships across Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, Quality, JJT, and other functions to align partner interests and facilitate fact-based decisions across countries, functions, and organizational levels.
  • Influence without direct authority, align diverse customer interests and facilitate fact-based decisions across countries, functions, and organizational levels.
  • Provide mentorship and thought leadership to project teams, key users, and planning practitioners, strengthening regional process ownership and change capability.
  • Serve as backup to the relevant GPM for IBP and Demand Planning activities, and provide continuity during planned absences or priority initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's / University or equivalent degree is required; advanced studies or similar experience and/or focused degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, Finance, Information Systems or a related field is preferred
  • APICS/ASCM, Project Management (PMP, FPX, or similar), Lean/Six Sigma, Prosci, or comparable certifications are preferred

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
