Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in enterprise technology or cloud sales, management consulting, or partner management with business development.
  • 3 years of experience leading teams in a technical customer-facing role within professional services or sales engineering.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience in people management with profit and loss responsibility.
  • Experience with software life-cycle, building tools, and architecting and developing software for scalable distributed systems, including data platform, AI/ML, and infrastructure.
  • Experience managing a team through sales processes, operations, and career development, including account mapping, quota setting, quarterly/annual performance management, and managing sensitive information.
  • Understanding of the High Performance Computing (HPC) market, products, and different customer segments/use cases of the emerging AI compute tech stack.

As the Senior Manager in HPC, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, growth, and customer success for the HPC business in North America. You will lead a team of HPC specialist sales and customer engineers to develop and grow long-term HPC partnerships, accelerate adoption, and expand GCP's leadership position. You will collaborate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and Finance and operate at the C-level internally and externally.Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities
  • Expand GCP's leadership position in the HPC market by growing the business through long-term HPC partnerships and accelerated adoption.
  • Drive strategic growth initiatives, sales plays, and customer programs to enable short and long-term customer success and scale GTM processes.
  • Manage the HPC rhythm of the business, including business and finance forecast cadence in collaboration with key stakeholders across Sales, Product, Operations, and Finance.
  • Lead Google Cloud's most strategic and complex HPC business cycles with a customer-first mindset and full accountability for partnership success.
  • Build and lead a team of HPC sales specialists and customer engineers, focusing on talent strategy and skills development to deliver on successful cloud transformation outcomes.
