We are looking to hire a Senior Manager, Global FP&A immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Global FP&A plays a critical leadership role in McCormick's consolidated financial reporting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes. This role supports executive decision-making through high-quality analysis, insight generation, and executive-ready materials across P&L, cash flow, and capital planning.

As a strategic partner within Global FP&A, this individual collaborates closely with Regional FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Global Strategy to drive financial alignment, transparency, and actionable insight. The role is central to advancing the transformation of Global FP&A by elevating analytical capabilities, standardizing processes, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and business impact.

This position also champions best practices, harmonization, and automation across Global FP&A, ensuring consistent, scalable, and value-added financial processes worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Consolidated Reporting & Executive Support
  • Lead the consolidated actuals reporting process versus forecast, partnering with Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Regional FP&A to ensure accuracy, alignment, and insight generation.
  • Translate financial results into clear, concise executive-level materials and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Analyze drivers of performance, risks, and opportunities to support informed decision-making.

Planning & Forecasting Leadership
  • Serve as a key finance partner in McCormick's Long-Term Plan (LTP) in collaboration with Global Strategy.
  • Consolidate global LTP and Budget forecasts across P&L, cash flow, and capital statements.
  • Provide forward-looking insights on financial trends, performance drivers, and capital allocation priorities.

FP&A Transformation & Process Excellence
  • Drive FP&A and analytics excellence through adoption of best practices, knowledge sharing, and continuous process improvement.
  • Lead global initiatives to enhance planning and analysis processes through redesign, standardization, automation, and technology enablement.
  • Identify and eliminate non-value-added work to improve efficiency and insight generation.
  • Document and harmonize core Global FP&A processes to establish scalable global standards.

Leadership & Talent Development
  • Lead and develop members of the Global FP&A team through coaching, mentorship, and structured development plans.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Effectively lead cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives across diverse geographies, time zones, and cultures.
  • Promote inclusive leadership and strong partnership across the global finance organization.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance
  • Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) and interdependencies
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
  • Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to work with incomplete or ambiguous information
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear insights
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement process improvements
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork orientation


Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA and/or CPA
  • Experience with SAP, BW, TM1, or similar planning and reporting systems
  • Experience in a multinational, matrixed organization
  • Exposure to investor-facing financial communications

Base Salary: $ 100,870 - 176,480

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick's Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan.
