Full Job Description
SALARY:

New York : $129,600 - $153,900, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

St. Louis : $106,400-$126,350, bonus eligible and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager of Frontline Transformation leads AB's image recognition portfolio that enables scalable measurement and growth of space and visibility in trade. This role is accountable for the product vision, roadmap governance, and support. It ensures IRIS continues to reliably power incentive programs, wholesaler scorecards, and actionable category insights.

The leader will evolve IRIS beyond cooler doors by building the next major pillar: menu recognition. Using photos of On-Premise menus to identify listed products, quantify presence/share, and generate insights that improve execution, activation, and commercial performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Portfolio Strategy & Program Ownership (IRIS Umbrella)
  • Own the multi-year vision for IRIS as AB's image recognition platform and program engine (cooler doors today; menus next; future adjacencies as proven).
  • Define how IRIS creates value across the commercial system: measurement insights action incentives growth.
  • Establish and run roadmap governance: intake, prioritization, stage gates, go/no-go decisions, and executive steering routines.

Product Roadmap & Delivery (Cooler Doors + Menu Recognition)
  • Lead the roadmap for continuous improvement of cooler door recognition (coverage, accuracy, user experience, reporting, and operational scale).
  • Own end-to-end delivery of menu recognition:
    • Define product scope (menu photo capture standards, recognition outputs, confidence thresholds, exception handling).
    • Stand up pilots with wholesalers / regions and scale nationally with repeatable playbooks.
    • Ensure outputs translate into business actions (distribution targets, activation opportunities, compliance tracking, incentive program integration).
  • Ensure product discipline: problem statements, user stories, UAT plans, release readiness, and measurable success criteria.

Data Foundation, Insights, and Realograms
  • Own the data backbone required for IRIS to scale: label taxonomies, product library/master data alignment, model output pipelines, and reporting readiness.
  • Ensure IRIS outputs:
    • Share-of-space measurement (cooler doors) for incentives and growth tracking
    • Realograms and downstream tooling that field/category teams use
    • Actionable insights that are credible, repeatable, and tied to action
  • Partner with analytics teams to define standard KPI definitions and reporting logic so insights are consistent across stakeholders

Implementation, Change Management & Adoption
  • Build the strategy and operating rhythm to drive adoption across the wholesaler system and internal teams.
  • Ensure training and enablement are world-class: role-based content, demos, office hours, troubleshooting guides, and regional cascades.
  • Establish a feedback loop that uses telemetry, audits, and NPS to drive continuous improvement and reduce friction

Vendor / Partner Management & Operating Model
  • Own external model-development partners: performance management, delivery quality, roadmap alignment, and SOW governance.
  • Partner with NAZTECH to deliver AB-owned capabilities where strategic (scalability, reliability, cost, and control).
  • Establish support and quality systems (SLAs, tiering, audits, bug intake, escalation paths) to ensure operational excellence.

Executive & Stakeholder Leadership
  • Serve as the leader for IRIS across Category Capabilities, EDGE, Sales Ops, Regions, AB ONE, Wholesaler partners, and Senior Leadership.
  • Communicate crisply: roadmap progress, risks, trade-offs, investment asks, and impact delivered-anchored in data.

Measures of Success
  • Cooler Door IRIS: improved accuracy/coverage, reduced support burden, and clear linkage to incentive program outcomes and space growth.
  • Menu Recognition: successful pilot scaled rollout with trusted recognition outputs, actionable insights, and measurable commercial impact.
  • Strong governance and predictability: transparent prioritization, stage gates, and on-time delivery with clear risk management.
  • High adoption and satisfaction: training effectiveness, NPS improvement, and sustained usage across wholesalers/regions.
  • A durable, scalable IRIS foundation: clean data alignment, reliable pipelines, and integrations that enable future expansions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred.
  • 8-12+ years in product management, program leadership, category/field enablement, or digital transformation.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional programs in a matrixed environment with senior stakeholder management.
  • Demonstrated vendor management and delivery oversight (SOWs, milestones, performance).
  • Strong analytical and operational mindset: ability to define KPIs, interpret data, and run action plans.
  • Strong communication skills (executive-ready storytelling; clear written and verbal updates).
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with image recognition, computer vision programs, or data-driven measurement systems, preferred.
  • Knowledge of category space concepts (share-of-space, planograms/realograms, assortment and execution insights), preferred.
  • Familiarity with agile delivery models and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps), preferred.
  • Understanding of the US wholesaler system and On-Premise execution realities (menus, activations, draft/rotations, chain vs independent), preferred.

  • Life Insurance and Disability Income Protection
  • Generous Parental Leave and FMLA policies
