Our Military Engines Program Financial Support (PFS) Organization in support of Military Development Programs has a new opportunity for a Senior Manager, FP&A.
This is an onsite position based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.
What You Will Do:
This position provides the candidate with a unique and challenging opportunity to interface and work closely with a core integrated program team which includes the Program Management Office, Contracts, Pricing, other Finance departments, and external customers.
This position will involve management of the Program including proposals, negotiations, contract execution, and closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Plan Setting.
- Monthly Sales/COS/Margin Forecasting.
- Detailed Variance Analysis.
- Inventory/Risks/Opps/Orders/Deliveries tracking.
- External customer financial reporting (Contract Funds Status Report, Letters of Funding).
- Comprehensive Estimate at Completion (EAC) analysis.
- Proposal/Rough Order of Magnitude/Not To Exceed support and Negotiations
- Billing/Accounts receivable reconciliations.
- Teaming closely with Program Office, Contracts, Supply Chain, and Pricing departments.
- Manage a team of two direct reports.
- 10% business travel requirements possible.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration required with at least 10+ years of experience in Contract Management and Finance; OR an Master's degree with 7+ years of experience in Contract Management and Finance
- Experience with Government contracting and knowledge of the FAR and DFAR.
- SAP and Microsoft office proficiency required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as an active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- An active and existing DoD secret clearance required on day 1.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- At least 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work on cross-functional teams.
- Self-starter who enjoys a dynamic work environment.
- Highly adaptable team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Well organized person, able to plan, forecast, and track progress and to use written, verbal, and analytical skills to influence business objectives.
- Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) contracting experience.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
