This is a professional sales position responsible for growing new business within the Latin ethnic segment, with the expectation of achieving assigned business goals while enhancing the customer experience. This will be accomplished through maintaining an industry and category specific certification status knowledge base and direct selling of the ethnic segment to customers. Specialists will prioritize time, targets, and team selling efforts based on market insights and data analytics.

Develop and execute targeted Latin/Hispanic segment strategies
Lead comprehensive regional Latin segment strategy aligned with enterprise growth objectives. Translate demographic, consumer, and industry insights into actionable category initiatives that drive profitable sales growth. Identify whitespace opportunities across independent Latin operators, regional chains, and multicultural growth segments. Serve as the regional authority on Latin food trends, emerging brands, and culturally relevant product innovation. Partner with Revenue Management, Supply Chain, and Merchandising to align pricing, sourcing, assortment standards, and vendor strategy to ensure competitive advantage and sustained market expansion.

Identify customer and prospect needs to deliver the right product mix
Build solution-oriented assortments aligned to regional demographic demand and profitability targets. Lead SKU rationalization and lifecycle management in Latin Assortment, exiting underperforming items and introducing culturally relevant innovations to maintain differentiation. Structure customer-specific pricing programs for key accounts while ensuring adherence to enterprise assortment standards with regional flexibility. Support onboarding of new Latin-focused customers through structured assortment and pricing solutions.

Own regional Latin category performance across sales, margin, shrink, and inventory health metrics.
