Who we are looking for:

ACV is seeking a high-impact Senior Manager, Enterprise Accounts to partner with leading automotive dealer groups and drive measurable improvements in inventory performance, vehicle acquisition, and retail and wholesale strategy. The SEAM will operate as a strategic advisor to major dealer group executives, major dealership operators helping them run a more profitable used vehicle business by leveraging the full ACV ecosystem-ACV Max, ClearCar, ACV True360, ACV Viper, ACV Transport and ACV Auctions. In addition to managing a portfolio of enterprise dealer relationships, this role plays a critical leadership function by managing, mentoring and developing an area team of Account Managers, ensuring consistent execution and performance across accounts.

What you will do:
  • Serve as the primary owner for major dealer group relationships, acting as a strategic advisor on
  • inventory, acquisition, pricing, merchandising, and profitability.
  • Build trusted partnerships with Dealer Principals, General Managers, Used Car Directors, and
  • Regional/Platform VPs.
  • Develop and execute short- and long-term account growth strategies.
  • Drive inventory performance improvements, including group inventory optimization, retail pricing,
  • merchandising, vehicle appraisal, inventory turn, days to sale, pricing discipline, and aging
  • management.
  • Translate ACV data and insights into actionable dealership strategies and conduct root-cause
  • analyses for underperforming inventory.
  • Coach dealership teams to improve execution and accountability.
  • Expand dealer acquisition strategies through ACV ClearCar and ACV Viper, identifying gaps and
  • implementing action planning to improve sourcing efficiency.
  • Optimize dealer wholesale remarketing strategies and increase ACV's share of dealer wholesale
  • volume.
  • Drive adoption of ACV tools across dealership operations and deliver in-store training, virtual
  • sessions, and performance reviews.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive check-ins, presenting insights on
  • inventory performance, acquisition effectiveness, platform utilization, and profitability
  • opportunities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop an area team of Account Managers through 1:1s, ride-alongs,
  • performance and pipeline reviews, and targeted development plans.
  • Identify and execute account expansion opportunities, partnering with ACV Enterprise and Field
  • Sales teams to drive product adoption, market rooftop expansion, and increased platform
  • utilization.
  • Own renewal strategy and customer retention, acting as an escalation point for data integrations,
  • platform issues, and operational disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM (Salesforce) records, tracking account performance, growth
  • opportunities, and risk indicators, delivering insights to leadership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What you will need:
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, automotive,
  • or related field.
  • Minimum Experience: 5+ years in automotive account management or related enterprise role.
  • Minimum Leadership Experience: 6+ years experience
  • Remote/In-Office: Hybrid (with significant travel)
  • Time spent traveling for work Up to 75%
  • Strong understanding of automotive dealership operations, with an emphasis on used vehicle
  • focus preferred.
  • Experience managing enterprise or multi-location accounts.
  • Proven ability to consult with senior dealership leadership and translate data into actionable
  • strategies.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring teams.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with internal CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

Compensation: The base compensation range for this position is listed in the "Job Details" section at the bottom of this posting, which includes an annualized geographical differential. This position is eligible for additional compensation pursuant to ACV's incentive compensation plan: the variable target of $60,000 annualized. Please note that the final compensation will be determined based upon the applicant's relevant experience, skillset, location, business needs, market demands, and performance (for incentive pay), and other factors as permitted by law.
