Senior Manager, Distribution Operations Excellence & Compliance

Location: Chino, CA (On-Site)

McKesson is seeking a Senior Manager, Distribution Operations Excellence & Compliance to lead continuous improvement, training, quality, and compliance programs within a high-volume distribution center and warehouse operation. This role partners closely with Distribution Center leadership to optimize operational performance, improve customer service, strengthen compliance, and enhance workforce capability.

Key Responsibilities

Distribution Operations & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead Operational Excellence initiatives across warehouse operations, distribution, inventory management, shipping, and fulfillment processes.
  • Drive Lean Six Sigma, process improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives that improve productivity, quality, safety, and service levels.
  • Utilize data analytics, KPIs, and root cause analysis to identify opportunities and implement sustainable solutions.
  • Standardize processes and implement controls that improve consistency and scalability across the operation.


Training & Workforce Development
  • Lead onboarding, training, and workforce development programs for distribution center employees.
  • Manage site trainers and ensure effective training, certification, and continuous learning programs.
  • Support a culture of accountability, engagement, and operational excellence.


Compliance, Quality & Audit Readiness
  • Oversee internal audits and maintain readiness for FDA, OSHA, Board of Pharmacy, and regulatory inspections.
  • Ensure facility licenses, SOPs, and compliance documentation remain current and audit-ready.
  • Partner with Operations, Safety, and Quality teams to mitigate risk and support regulatory compliance requirements.


Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead teams responsible for Operational Excellence, Training, Compliance, and special projects.
  • Partner with Distribution Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, HR, and Safety leaders to achieve business objectives.
  • Support strategic initiatives that improve service, customer satisfaction, productivity, and operational performance.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 9+ years of experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations management.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience leading operational excellence, continuous improvement, quality, compliance, or training programs.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).
  • Experience in high-volume distribution center, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of FDA, OSHA, Board of Pharmacy, or regulated distribution environments.
  • Experience with business analytics, project management, and change management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with warehouse automation, WMS, or workflow management systems.
