Job Description

As the Senior Manager - Digital Solutions, you will lead product roadmap design and oversee the development of digital solutions. You will translate executive, operations, engineering, field workforce, and supply chain needs into scalable digital products, using analytics, AI/machine learning, Industrial IoT, and integrated data to identify high-value use cases and deliver measurable business outcomes. You will serve as a strategic advisor across internal teams and external customers, shaping solutions that integrate sources into actionable operational intelligence.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and continuously evolve the digital product vision, strategy, business case, and outcome-focused roadmap for Wesco developed digital solutions.
  • Partner with stakeholders, operations leaders, engineering teams, IT, customer experience, sales, and third-party technology partners to identify customer pain points, prioritize product opportunities, and translate strategic objectives into product capabilities and measurable value propositions.
  • Lead discovery, requirements definition, prioritization, and agile execution across product teams; guide product owners, designers, data/analytics resources, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable web, mobile, analytics, and workflow capabilities.
  • Define data and analytic requirements for solutions that combine operational data sources to enable predictive insights, operational decisioning, and executive-level performance visibility.
  • Develop and manage use cases for AI/ML-enabled capabilities such as predictive maintenance, asset health scoring, transformer and critical equipment analytics, outage prioritization, network topology validation, reliability improvement, and investment/maintenance prioritization.
  • Serve as a trusted digital product and analytics advisor, presenting recommendations, roadmaps, market insights, customer feedback, return-on-effort tradeoffs, and performance outcomes to senior leadership, customers, and internal governance forums.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive offerings, emerging technology, industry best practices, and customer expectations to identify new product opportunities and guide long-term solution differentiation.
  • Establish product success measures, adoption metrics, financial impact, risk controls, and continuous improvement practices to ensure products deliver customer value, operational impact, and sustainable growth.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree - Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Information Systems, or related discipline required
  • Masters Degree preferred
  • Agile/Product Owner/Product Management certification; utility, analytics, or technical certifications preferred
  • 7+ years experience Digital product management lifecycle experience, including product strategy, discovery, roadmap ownership, prioritization, execution, launch, adoption, and performance management.
  • Experience leading and growing product capabilities and/or product teams with an outcome-focused roadmap, measurable business case, and customer-centric delivery model.
  • Experience operating in digital channels, including web, mobile, apps, workflow, scanning/mobility solutions, and data-driven operational platforms.
  • Utility, energy, industrial, infrastructure, or field-operations domain experience, with demonstrated understanding of reliability, asset management, outage/storm response, grid modernization, and/or field workforce processes.
  • Experience translating operational data into analytics-enabled digital products, including requirements for dashboards, decisioning workflows, predictive models, asset health, outage intelligence, or operational intelligence.
  • Product Owner/Scaled Product Owner experience on scrum teams in an agile environment.
  • Experience integrating, interpreting, or applying utility/operational data sources such as SCADA, AMI, OMS, GIS, weather, WMS, EAM/asset management, mobile workforce systems, and IoT sensor data.
  • Experience advising executives, customers, or senior stakeholders; presenting recommendations, tradeoffs, roadmaps, financial impact, and return-on-effort decisions to leadership.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional groups, including internal business teams, technology teams, analytics resources, vendors, and external customers, in strategic and tactical discussions with clear goals, objectives, and outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to simplify complex technical, analytics, and operational concepts for business audiences.
  • Curious, customer-focused problem solver with ability to filter competing requests, prioritize high-value needs, and reprioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Working knowledge of user experience principles, graphical user interface development, and cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device compatibility standards and behaviors.
  • Experience with analytics platforms, cloud/SaaS products, data integration, data governance, and digital transformation initiatives preferred.
  • Recognized analytics, product management, agile, engineering, or industry credentials; conference speaking, thought leadership, patents, or industry association participation preferred.
  • Ability to travel 0% - 25%


This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
