What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, Data Quality USWM will provide operational direction to support data quality initiatives across US Wealth Management while ensuring full transparency to stakeholders (business and technology) through regular reporting and metrics. You'll drive alignment with enterprise data governance policies and industry best practices, shape how we manage data risk, and enable a strong data culture across the organization. This is a high-impact role that influences both business and technology leaders to establish and enforce data quality standards.

What will you do?
  • Develop and deliver self-service data quality reporting, metrics, and SLAs for key data classes to meet internal and regulatory requirements
  • Own and manage the Data Quality Rules framework for USWM, ensuring rules align with business requirements, regulatory expectations, and governance standards
  • Monitor and remediate data quality issues proactively across key data domains; drive follow-through on Data Quality Observations with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Oversee deployment of data quality modalities (metadata management, data lineage, reference data management) and best practices in partnership with technology teams
  • Establish governance and accountability for data quality standards integration across the data lifecycle
  • Represent USWM at regional and WM Data Governance forums; provide strategic advice and thought leadership to management on data and privacy risks
  • Develop, evolve, and report KRIs, KPIs, and RAMS for Information Management and Privacy Risk
  • Support Data Quality initiatives and best practices in alignment with Enterprise Data Governance standards and regulatory expectations


What do you need to succeed?

Must-have
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of Wealth Management business and data flows
  • Significant experience managing data quality services and frameworks, including reference data and metadata management
  • Strong regulatory/compliance knowledge with respect to data (privacy, cross-border rules, tax, US regulatory frameworks)
  • Strong knowledge of data quality rules definition, implementation, and monitoring
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at senior levels with exceptional stakeholder/relationship management skills

The expected salary range for this particular position is $90,000 - $160,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC's discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
