Building strategic customer engagement programs that strengthen executive relationships, generate actionable customer and market insights, foster peer communities, and accelerate Health Catalyst's growth through meaningful collaboration with healthcare leaders.

As the Customer Engagement Program Manager, you will establish and scale Health Catalyst's Executive Advisory Board, Customer Collaboratives, and other executive engagement initiatives that connect customers, prospects, industry experts, and Health Catalyst leaders to shape product strategy, strengthen customer advocacy, and drive measurable business outcomes.

This highly cross-functional role partners with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Brand & Communications, Executive Leadership, the Marketing Events team, and external stakeholders to ensure customer voices directly influence business decisions and long-term growth.

Job Description

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day execution of Health Catalyst's strategic customer engagement programs, including Executive Advisory Boards, Customer Collaboratives, and future executive engagement initiatives. Working closely with executive sponsors, an external advisory board consultant, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will coordinate program activities, manage communications, support member recruitment and engagement, oversee meeting logistics, and ensure customer insights are translated into meaningful organizational action.

Success in this role requires exceptional relationship-building skills, executive presence, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. You will work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Executive Leadership, and Marketing to transform customer engagement into strategic business value. A strong understanding of Health Catalyst's business, the healthcare industry, and our customers' evolving needs will be essential to ensuring these programs deliver meaningful outcomes.

You will serve as the operational owner of these programs, responsible for coordinating all aspects of their execution—from member communications, executive coordination, meeting planning, and logistics to agenda preparation, participant experience, and post-meeting follow-up. This role combines strategic program management with hands-on execution to deliver exceptional in-person and virtual engagements throughout the year.

What you will own in this role:

  • Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of Executive Advisory Boards, Customer Collaboratives, and other strategic customer engagement programs.
  • Coordinate all program logistics, including calendars, meeting schedules, executive communications, invitations, registrations, travel coordination, virtual meeting production, venues, and participant materials.
  • Partner with executive sponsors, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and an external advisory board consultant to support member recruitment, agenda development, and successful program delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for advisory board members, collaborative participants, executive assistants, speakers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate executive participation by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, communicating with executive assistants, preparing briefing materials, confirming attendance, coordinating travel when needed, and ensuring executives are prepared for each engagement.
  • Capture meeting outcomes, recommendations, and action items, and communicate, coordinate and track the follow-up activities across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Maintain program documentation, member rosters, project plans, budgets, timelines, governance documents, and operational processes.
  • Track program KPIs and recommend continuous improvements to enhance participant engagement and program effectiveness.

What you bring to the role:

  • Exceptional project and program management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience coordinating executive meetings, advisory boards, customer programs, conferences, or similar strategic initiatives.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating with executives and executive assistants.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Experience managing event logistics, meeting coordination, or customer engagement programs involving both virtual and in-person experiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate needs, remove obstacles, and keep complex programs running smoothly.
  • Ability to synthesize customer feedback and coordinate follow-up across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Passion for creating meaningful customer experiences, executive communities, and long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Intellectual curiosity to learn about the healthcare industry and provider market and apply that knowledge to your work

Preferred Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in customer engagement, strategic program management, marketing, customer success, healthcare operations, product marketing, or related fields.
