Senior Manager, Integration & Business Strategy

Overview

Walmart Connect is seeking a Senior Manager, Integration & Business Strategy to primarily support the strategic planning and execution of one of the organization's highest-priority initiatives, following the recent announcement of a proposed acquisition. Reporting to the Director, Integration & Business Strategy, this role will help coordinate cross-functional integration efforts, drive program management, develop executive-ready communications, and build scalable operating mechanisms that enable successful pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, post-close integration, and long-term value realization. The successful candidate will bring structure to ambiguity, helping translate strategic priorities into operational excellence while continuously improving how teams plan, communicate, and execute. This role is ideal for a highly organized operator who enjoys solving complex problems, building repeatable processes, and leveraging technology to improve execution across a fast-moving organization. As the integration progresses, the role will also contribute to broader business strategy, planning, and growth initiatives across Walmart Connect.

Responsibilities associated with the proposed acquisition are contingent upon the transaction closing.

What You'll Do

Drive integration program management: Partner with the Director to coordinate cross-functional integration efforts across Product, Engineering, Technology, Information Security, Finance, Legal, HR, Sales, Marketing, and other enterprise stakeholders by managing timelines, dependencies, risks, decisions, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

Develop executive communications and governance: Prepare high-quality presentations, executive updates, steering committee materials, meeting agendas, decision logs, and status reports that synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations while supporting effective governance and executive decision-making.

Build scalable operating mechanisms: Design, implement, and continuously improve repeatable processes, operating cadences, governance frameworks, and documentation standards that increase organizational efficiency, transparency, and consistency across the integration program.

Leverage technology, automation, and data: Identify opportunities to improve execution through modern collaboration, workflow, dashboarding, and AI-enabled productivity tools while developing scalable KPI reporting, knowledge management, automation, and visibility across key workstreams.

Enable business readiness and operational excellence: Partner with teams across Walmart Connect to integrate planning, reporting, OKRs, product roadmaps, financial processes, and operating rhythms into existing business practices while maintaining accurate, accessible documentation that serves as a single source of truth for stakeholders.

Support strategy and value realization: Contribute to business cases, financial modeling, competitive research, executive analyses, and strategic initiatives while helping monitor integration health, value realization, and continuous improvement opportunities.

Success in This Role

  • Integration efforts are coordinated effectively across stakeholders, with milestones delivered on schedule and risks proactively managed.

  • Executive leaders receive timely, concise, and decision-oriented communications that improve alignment and execution.

  • Scalable operating processes, governance mechanisms, dashboards, documentation, and automation improve organizational efficiency and transparency.

  • Integration activities are seamlessly incorporated into existing Walmart Connect planning, reporting, and operating rhythms.

  • Teams have trusted, up-to-date visibility into priorities, OKRs, product roadmaps, milestones, decisions, and key program artifacts.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, business operations, program management, management consulting, corporate development, transformation, partnerships, or related roles preferred.

  • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and executive visibility.

  • Exceptional project management, organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear executive recommendations.

  • Experience developing executive presentations, KPI dashboards, operating reviews, business documentation, and governance materials.

  • Experience leveraging collaboration, workflow, knowledge management, dashboarding, and AI-enabled productivity tools to improve organizational effectiveness.

  • Experience in digital advertising, retail media, technology, or related industries is preferred.
