The Sr Manager, Compensation provides consulting services to HR Business Partners and their client groups on executive compensation related matters and plays a key role in maintaining program governance. The Sr Manager leads the executive compensation team in identifying opportunities, prioritizing actions and delivering results that support and improve the organization's compensation solutions.
What you'll be doing:
• Work with the Senior Director, Compensation Programs and VP, Total Rewards to shape and execute the executive compensation strategy.
• Key involvement in developing compensation program content within HR Committee meeting materials.
• Lead planning and delivery of annual compensation cycle for the executive population.
• Lead completion of the executive compensation disclosure in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Provide strategic compensation advice and expertise to HR Business Partners in order to resolve complex issues and challenges.
• Ensure the development and documentation of procedures to streamline processes within the executive compensation function (e.g., executive new hires, promotions, terminations/severance).
• Focus on developing team members, creating opportunities to grow and enhance skills.
• Keep informed of trends and developments in executive compensation.
• Lead initiatives to educate management and HR business partners.
What you bring:
• Post-secondary degree coupled with 8-10+ years of experience in Compensation with a focus in executive compensation design and administration.
• Excellent consulting, collaboration, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate and present complex concepts in a simple and easy to understand manner.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment, balancing the activities of many priorities/projects at any one time.
• Highly organized and self-motivated; flexible and adaptable; accurate; detail-oriented; can work in a complex, changing work environment.
• Enjoy working on complex issues and generating creative and business-oriented solutions.
• Demonstrated focus on execution and operational excellence.
• Experience within a multi-industry organization is a definite asset.
