Senior Manager, Chief of Staff
As the Senior Manager, Chief of Staff in the Enterprise Data product organization you will lead critical business, operational and associate experience initiatives, directly contributing to the success of the broader Enterprise Data Organization. This is a high-impact position that demands a blend of strategic thinking, expert communication, and operational excellence.
As a Chief of Staff, you will:
Understand the organization27s strategy and vision, and establish routines and mechanisms to drive and track priorities and goals
Own and evolve the strategic Associate Experience roadmap for the eData organization, aligning cultural initiatives with overarching business goals
Support the communications and event strategy providing context to the team and key partners, helping with building presentations and crafting the messaging
Assist the leadership team with strategic planning including financial and resource planning in collaboration with key partners, including Finance, and HR.
Develop context to identify and surface needs and risks across initiatives, partner relationships, and org health (engagement, morale) before they escalate.
Lead high impact special projects critical to the organization priorities, emerging strategic intent or addressing key operational gaps

Strong project and program management skills
Strong analytical rigor and the ability to effectively leverage AI and/or new tools to streamline and automate manual processes or workflows
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing demands and situations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or Military Experience
At least 5 years of experience in staff management and training
At least 5 years of experience in budget management
At least 7 years of experience in organizational development and performance
At least 7 years of experience in project or process management
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or Organizational Development
10+ years of experience in Project or Process management
Experience managing visible projects which require the ability to manage interdisciplinary team members, remove obstacles and influence appropriately
8+ years of experience in Communications planning and development, including department communications, leadership team meetings, presentations, memos and reports
8+ years of experience in Staff management and training
8+ years of experience in Organizational development and performance

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900 for Chief of StaffMcLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Chief of Staff
Richmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300 for Chief of Staff
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate27s offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
