As a Senior Manager, you lead and develop a high-performing team while bridging strategy and execution to accelerate Scotiabank's process transformation agenda. You bring deep expertise in process management, change leadership, and operational problem-solving, enabling you to identify and deliver meaningful innovation opportunities. You balance structure with agility to move work forward quickly, establish rigor and consistency in how processes are designed and executed, and champion continuous improvement across the organization. You are a proactive, disciplined self-starter who builds strong partnerships and influences stakeholders to drive measurable business outcomes.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
  • Shape the enterprise change management learning strategy by leading needs assessments and defining learning objectives that build organizational capability and accelerate process transformation.
  • Design and oversee high-impact learning programs (e.g., Lean systems, process documentation standards, Green/Black Belt training) that strengthen process excellence across the bank.
  • Lead strategic onboarding and workforce readiness initiatives to ensure new team members integrate quickly, contribute effectively, and adopt EDGE methodologies.
  • Develop and govern enterprise-level communication strategies that clarify process changes, enhance stakeholder adoption, and promote consistent understanding of new standards and ways of working.
  • Use data-driven insights to advise senior executives, highlighting enterprise risks, opportunities, and performance trends that inform decision-making and prioritization.
  • Act as a senior advisor on process management and continuous improvement, guiding leaders and teams in applying EDGE methodologies to drive scalable, sustainable outcomes.
  • Provide strategic leadership on end-to-end process optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and cross-functional business needs.
  • Influence senior leaders and decision-makers to champion process excellence, invest in capability-building, and accelerate adoption of productivity and change initiatives.
  • Build a learning- and customer-centric culture, fostering knowledge sharing, talent development, and improved service outcomes across the organization.
  • Ensure strong governance and risk alignment, embedding operational, regulatory, and compliance controls within process design, training programs, and day-to-day team execution.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience developing clear, compelling learning and communication materials.
  • Advanced presentation skills, with demonstrated experience presenting to senior and executive leadership to influence decisions and drive alignment.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to support insights and reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Experience navigating complex, matrixed environments and driving adoption of new processes or standards.
