Full Job Description
Position Overview:

The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Field Analytics and Insights, is a key member of the Commercialization Analytics and Operations team at PharmaEssentia USA and reports to the Senior Director, Commercialization Operations. This newly created role will lead the development and application of U.S. national and subnational field analytics for all customer-facing teams. The position will focus on framing high-value business questions, integrating and analyzing complex data, identifying performance drivers and opportunities, and translating findings into actionable recommendations that improve field execution and the customer experience in support of BESREMi4 and PE-CX priorities.

In this role, you will collaborate primarily with PE-CX and Sales leaders, as well as with other commercial functions, global stakeholders, and external partners. You will combine CRM, claims, specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, digital, and other data sources to evaluate sales execution, channel performance, customer engagement, and business impact. Reports and dashboards will serve as scalable tools for insight generation and decision-making rather than as stand-alone deliverables.

This position requires a strategic, hands-on analytics leader who can independently conduct analyses, develop measurement frameworks, communicate clear recommendations, and influence business decisions. The role will also maintain and improve essential business-as-usual reporting, establish data-quality standards, and advance a forward-looking analytics and KPI roadmap for account managers, regional directors, market access leaders, medical science liaisons, thought leader liaisons, sales teams, and other customer-facing roles. This role currently has no direct reports and requires approximately 15-20% travel.
If you thrive in an agile, analytics-driven environment and are motivated to support the emerging capabilities of PharmaEssentia's PE-CX team, we invite you to apply for this opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients with myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs).Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Head of PE-CX on strategic field and marketing initiatives that require data analysis and performance measurement.
  • Lead the field analytics and insights strategy, including the analytical roadmap, KPI framework, and methodologies used to evaluate national and subnational performance.
  • Partner with commercial and noncommercial leaders to define priority business questions, translate them into analytical plans, and deliver actionable recommendations that inform strategy and execution.
  • Integrate and analyze CRM, patient-level claims, specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, EHR and lab, marketing, digital, affiliation, and other data to identify trends, drivers, opportunities, and risks.
  • Develop advanced and recurring analyses to assess customer segmentation and targeting, call-plan effectiveness, omnichannel engagement, territory performance, patient and account dynamics, and execution against strategic priorities.
  • Establish measurement frameworks and success metrics for prioritized customer experience initiatives, launches, new indications, competitive events, and other evolving business priorities.
  • Synthesize analytical findings into clear narratives, implications, and recommendations for field leaders, cross-functional partners, and senior leadership, distinguishing descriptive results from forward-looking insights.
  • Create scalable analytical solutions and self-service capabilities that improve the speed, consistency, and quality of recurring analyses, business reviews, launch-readiness assessments, and performance monitoring.
  • Explore and prioritize field AI and predictive analytics use cases, partnering with the Global Data and AI team (GDAI) and IT to evaluate feasibility, data readiness, business value, and responsible implementation.
  • Own the essential field reporting ecosystem, including dashboards, standard reports, metric definitions, data validation, user acceptance testing, release prioritization, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive adoption and analytical fluency across field and headquarters teams through training, change management, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage third-party data and analytics partners, including Beghou, Veeva, and other relevant suppliers, with accountability for analytical quality, budgets, deliverables, timelines, and business reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, business analytics, economics, information technology, life sciences, business administration, or a related quantitative field required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in commercial analytics, field analytics, insights, or a related discipline within life sciences or a related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous business questions, select appropriate analytical approaches, interpret results, and translate findings into clear business implications and recommendations.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical data and metrics, including CRM activity, patient-level claims, specialty pharmacy, specialty distribution, EHR and lab, HCO hierarchy and affiliation, marketing, and digital data.
  • Experience applying analytical techniques such as trend and variance analysis, segmentation, driver analysis, cohort analysis, test-and-learn measurement, forecasting, and performance benchmarking.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel; experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar tools is required.
  • Experience developing executive-ready insight narratives, dashboards, and presentations that communicate complex analyses clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience with field force strategy and operations, including customer segmentation, targeting, call planning, performance measurement, territory alignment, and incentives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills, with the ability to influence decisions, challenge assumptions constructively, and manage multiple analytical priorities and workstreams.
  • Specialty pharmaceutical or rare disease experience is a plus.
