Overview

Support the specialized investigative mission of DHS/ICE/HSI and participate as part of a team in the investigative mission of national/international investigative programs, initiatives and liaison activities

Background

The Worksite Enforcement Unit (WSEU) is responsible for the development and implementation of the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) worksite enforcement strategy. As a significant part of the overall interior enforcement mission of Department of Homeland Security (DHS)/Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), HSI’s worksite enforcement strategy seeks to remove the magnet of illegal employment by targeting egregious employer violations and abuses in both critical infrastructure protection (CIP) business sectors and non-CIP business sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and support all tasks under this order and serve as the task manager for all activities in the contractor personnel labor categories.
  • Perform adequate resource planning and staffing.
  • Serve as the main government point of contact; Meet the COR and designated program POC’s on a recurring basis (as determined by the COR) to demonstrate progress and provide status updates of assignments
  • Provide management and technical oversight for all projects ensuring quality and best practices are applied
  • Perform quality assurance reviews and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements, efficiencies, and alignment of expectations with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Assist with briefings, presentations, training, and activities to support this program.
  • Monitoring and reporting of risks associated with this order.
  • Develop operational knowledge and functional understanding of the Worksite Enforcement program.
Qualifications
  • 10 years experience with a Masters Degree OR 15 years experience with a Bachelors Degree.
  • 2 years experince managing personnel and projects of this nature.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application in the areas of administrative policies, audits, program management, federal contract management, and financial management.

Masters or Bachelors Degree

Compensation

Anticipated Salary Range: $130,000–$180,000 annually

 

Actual compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, certifications, and other business considerations.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Location and Work Hours

Work Location: Reston, VA

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, Regular Business Hours
