Senior Manager, Annual and Leadership Giving Employment Terms: Full-Time, Permanent Start Date: June 2026 The Opportunity: Branksome Hall is nearing the close of the most historic fundraising campaign in the school's history. The Make Way Campaign has raised approximately $42 million to date, exceeding its original goal and standing as one of the most successful campaigns for a Canadian independent school. This remarkable momentum has helped transform Branksome's philanthropic culture, including significant growth in the Annual Fund. As the campaign approaches its conclusion, Branksome is entering an exciting next chapter-one focused on sustaining this momentum, deepening community engagement and continuing to advance the school's most important priorities. Reporting to the Director of Development & Campaign, the Senior Manager, Annual and Leadership Giving is a key player in Branksome Hall's transformational fundraising Campaign. They will drive the development, implementation, and growth of all aspects of the Annual Giving program, which raises between $1 million to $1.5 million yearly. With a focus on maximizing revenue for key priorities, this role offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships with prospects, donors and volunteers. As part of the Advancement & Community Engagement team, the Senior Manager will also play a vital role in identifying major gift prospects and supporting their cultivation, helping to inspire significant philanthropic contributions. Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to: - Strategic lead in developing and executing the Annual Giving business plan including engagement, solicitation strategies for donor acquisition, lapsed donors, retention and upgrade opportunities, and developing the rollout calendar. - Identify new and creative opportunities to enhance the Annual Fund program. - Develop goals, forecast revenue and manage the program budget. - Ability to track, analyze, interpret and present fundraising data to optimize strategies. - Develop a comprehensive Marketing plan and implement social media initiatives, digital solicitations,engagement campaigns and maintenance of landing and donation pages for the Annual Fund. - Manage a personalized Annual Leadership Giving Program of annual gifts up to $25,000 and maintain a portfolio of prospects for personalized solicitation activities. - Provide strategic input with the planning and execution of Annual Fund Stewardship activities. - Collaborate with the Major Gifts team to develop and implement a strategic annual fund plan that generates leads and identifies major and planned gifts. - Working collaboratively with the Advancement team, plan events in support of the Annual Fund. - Oversee specific campaigns including Reunion Giving, Graduation Year Class Gift program, the employee giving program, among other initiatives. - Manage a number of volunteers for specific Annual Fund campaigns including the Annual Fund Committee,a parent peer-to-peer fundraising program for our parent community. - Collaborate with outside vendors on marketing materials for campaigns. Candidate Profile: - University degree or related college certificate required - 5-7 years of experience in managing Annual and Leadership Giving programs - Experience in the education sector is an asset - Experience developing and implementing digital fundraising, social media and engagement strategies - Proven track record in project management with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines - Experience with volunteer management - Excellent proofreading and editing skills with strong attention to detail - Superior written and strong verbal communication - Planning, budgeting and forecasting skills - Ability to manipulate, analyze and manage data/gift information - Understanding of relevant CRA regulations, gift vehicles and their charitable tax implications - Advanced knowledge of Raiser's Edge and Microsoft Office software and applications - Operation of graphic software, Constant Contact, and Thankview is preferred; - Ability to build queries and maintain dashboards would be considered an asset.
