- Manage client communications, deliverables, and expectations with confidence
- Ensure financials are client-ready - accurate, clear, and delivered on time
- Review and deliver high-quality financial reporting packages with accuracy and consistency
Lead, develop, and protect the performance of your pod- Mentor Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants, and Bookkeepers toward professional growth
- Own team utilization and workload decisions to balance capacity and engagement mix
- Build a team culture that holds both people and standards in high regard
Drive delivery quality and manage risk before it becomes a client issue- Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting across multiple client accounts
- Review and approve financial packages, analyses, and client-facing deliverables
- Use scorecard metrics to identify risk early and drive structural fixes
Improve the systems and workflows your team runs on- Identify, design, and implement process improvements across workflows, documentation, and internal handoffs
- Lead with clarity - turn ambiguity into actionable structure for your team
Own your portfolio's performance and engagement health- Monitor revenue, gross margin, scope tension, and client expectations vs. engagement reality
- Escalate and address issues proactively - not reactively
