Our Team, Your Impact

This position will work on the North America GL accounting and reporting team and will participate in GL accounting team activities and provide accurate and timely information to management and corporate Finance. Additional responsibilities as necessitated by business activities.

How You'll Spend Your Day
• Participate in and contribute to accurate and timely monthly and quarterly closings of Teva USA and subsidiaries. Responsibilities include supervision and review of Global Business Service partners for areas of responsibility, preparation of journal entries, preparation and analysis of working papers/schedules, preparation and analysis of schedules and reconciliations, departmental analysis, and assistance with the internal consolidation process. Prior experience with intercompany reporting as well as FX transactions is strongly preferred.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and drive continued efficiencies.
• Participate in the North American consolidation of Teva USA and its subsidiaries. Provide quarterly analyses and disclosure forms for Corporate Accounting. Position will also be responsible for participating in the preparation of quarterly flux analyses.
• Collaborate with Corporate Accounting team, other subsidiaries, and departments to provide information as requested. Requires ability to perform and document technical accounting research and to collaborate with the Directors to analyze impact to the North American financials. This position will work closely with other Teva sites across the world, as well as with Corporate Accounting, therefore, strong written and oral communication skills are required.
• Investigate and resolve issues that arise within the GL team as well as assist other stakeholders across the organization with accounting questions. Work closely with other departments to compile data and perform various financial analyses.
• Participate in reviewing and adoption of new technical accounting standards and developments, including researching and reviewing the impact of the new guidance to the North American financials.
• Assist in implementing accounting policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Participate in innovative technology solutions.
• Interaction with both external and internal auditors to support annual and quarterly reviews of areas of responsibility. Maintain SOX compliance documentation for all areas of responsibility.
• Other duties as assigned and/or as business needs require, such as preparation of statutory financial statements.

Primary Outcomes
• Timely and accurate accounting data and analysis provided to internal customers and to Corporate Accounting for external financial statement consolidation purposes.
• Timely and accurate information provided to external auditors to obtain positive affirmation of financial statements and internal control documentation.

Your Skills and Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

Experience and qualifications-
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required
• CPA License or MBA is preferred
• A minimum six years' accounting and/or auditing experience, either in public accounting or related equivalent
• Experience with SAP
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with leading/supervising staff
• Knowledge and experience in US GAAP required

Salary Range

The annual starting salary for this position is between $125,000 - $157,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
