Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, plus military training in naval systems or technical engineering education.
• 12 years experience in operation, maintenance, testing, and repair of HM&E systems on U.S. Navy nuclear vessels.
• Experience in providing QA support for maintenance and repairs in shipyards.
• Active DoD Secret clearance, with ability to maintain it throughout employment.
• Experience as a Level II supervisor or higher in a nuclear-capable shipyard preferred. Can also include roles aboard nuclear vessels. Still valuable for demonstrating leadership under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of HM&E systems on nuclear-powered warships.
• Conduct regular testing and repairs of shipboard systems to ensure functionality.
• Manage quality assurance processes for maintenance tasks in shipyard environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve maintenance procedures.
