The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

Justrite Safety Group/Eagle Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Maintenance Manager for our Wellsburg, WV manufacturing facility. This role combines day-to-day operational leadership and providing strategic leadership for maintenance, electrical, and reliability operations across a metal and plastics manufacturing environment. Leads maintenance strategy, reliability improvement, PM programs, planning and scheduling, budgeting and cost control, capital projects, equipment upgrades, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives to maximize asset performance, production uptime, and operational efficiency.

As a member of our Maintenance team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. This dedicated team is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, addressing equipment malfunctions, and implementing solutions to improve operational efficiency. With a strong focus on safety and reliability, the Maintenance Team collaborates closely with other departments to minimize downtime and maintain a productive work environment. What You'll Do at Justrite:

Maintenance and Reliability
  • Lead all maintenance operations for production equipment and facility assets.
  • Develop and manage a preventive maintenance (PM) program to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Implement predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermal imaging, oil analysis, etc.).
  • Reduce downtime by analyzing equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain OEE tracking and root cause for each equipment
  • Partner with OEMs to create PM proposals and maintain a budget for PM


CMMS/Maintenance PM System
  • Manage and optimize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules and standard work procedures.
  • Track equipment history, work orders, KPIs, and maintenance costs.
  • Ensure accurate inventory and spare parts management.
  • Use CMMS data to improve maintenance planning and decision-making.

Planning and Scheduling
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize production interruptions.
  • Coordinate shutdowns, outages, and major repairs.
  • Balance labor resources, contractors, and production schedules.
  • Develop weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance plans.


Budgeting and Cost Control
  • Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget.
  • Forecast labor, spare parts, contractor, and capital expenses.
  • Control maintenance costs while improving equipment reliability.
  • Prepare business cases and ROI analyses for equipment investments.


Capital Projects and Equipment Upgrades
  • Develop a 1-, 3-, and 5-year capital improvement roadmap for equipment replacement and modernization.
  • Identify aging equipment and prioritize upgrades based on risk, reliability, and return on investment.
  • Lead machinery installation, commissioning, and startup projects.
  • Manage capital expenditure (CapEx) projects from planning through completion.


Automation and Continuous Improvement
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity and reduce labor costs.
  • Partner with engineering, production, and controls teams on automation initiatives.
  • Evaluate robotics, PLC upgrades, sensors, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement projects focused on reliability and efficiency.


Leadership
  • Lead and develop maintenance supervisors, planners, and technicians.
  • Establish performance metrics and maintenance KPIs (OEE, MTBF, MTTR, PM compliance, downtime).
  • Coach team members and support technical training.
  • Manage contractors and vendor relationships.


Strategic Responsibilities
  • Create a long-term asset management strategy.
  • Develop reliability improvement plans.
  • Forecast future maintenance needs and workforce requirements.
  • Align maintenance objectives with production and business goals.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, reliability, engineering or related leadership roles.
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing maintenance and electrical functions in a metal, plastics, or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, reliability programs, PM optimization, and asset management.
  • Experience developing and implementing maintenance planning and scheduling systems and CMMS programs.
  • Demonstrated success managing maintenance budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing labor and resources.
  • Proven experience leading capital projects, equipment upgrades, automation initiatives, and new equipment installations.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, controls, PLCs, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement, root cause analysis, downtime reduction, and overall equipment effectiveness.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $115,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
