Full Job Description
General Description

You will be working to program complex aerospace and other high-tolerance, fully certified parts on 3-5 axis machines. OMW multiple full five axis machining cells, some with pallet systems and spindle loading robots, in addition to Mori-Seiki, Okuma and Fanuc vertical and horizontal machining centers. Software products we currently use include SurfCam, CAMplete, Solidworks, and others.

As a flight critical key supplier for world-class aerospace companies, we take QC very seriously at OMW. We are ISO 9001, AS9100D, and ITAR registered, and have a temperature-controlled QC department with certified equipment including multiple fully automatic CMMs.

This is a high-level job. Candidates must be focused, smart, work well with others, and be able to produce complex part programs very quickly in a fast-paced work environment, with minimal supervision. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of CNC machining and programming experience, including full 5-axis machining and horizontal machining. Candidates must also be mature, responsible, professional, communicate effectively with other employees, understand advanced QC requirements, and work well in a diverse team environment.

Duties include:
  • Programming complex parts
  • Proving out programs
  • Debugging and troubleshooting subtle production problems
  • Helping train setup and machine operators to further their skills
  • Understanding Inspection and QA requirements at a high level of competence
