Job Description:
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERSSkinHealth Systems ships devices, consumables, and service parts to providers and distributorsn more than 90 countries — and every shipment depends on precise carrier coordination, documentation accuracy, and proactive issue resolution to arrive on time and intact. The Sr Logistics Specialist is the operational engine behind that reliability.
This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for managing domestic and international shipment documentation, building carrier relationships, tracking on-time delivery performance, and taking proactive action to eliminate transit delays before they reach the customer.
WHAT YOU’LL DOManage and process domestic shipment documentation and provide backup support for the international logistics team as needed.
Monitor the physical movement of shipments across the supply chain from pickup through final delivery, taking proactive action with carriers to eliminate transit delays.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal customers, external customers, and carrier service providers, delivering exceptional service quality.
Collect and analyze supporting data to create carrier performance reports and track on-time delivery KPIs.
Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal trade compliance teams on international shipment requirements.
Identify and escalate logistics exceptions, shipment discrepancies, and carrier performance issues with recommended resolution.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes, reduce cost, and improve delivery performance.

Required
High School Diploma
5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics coordination, or transportation management.
Solid knowledge of domestic and international shipping concepts, practices, and procedures.
Self-directed with the ability to communicate findings, make recommendations, and facilitate resolution across internal and external stakeholders.
Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage time-sensitive shipment issues effectively.
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Experience working directly for a freight forwarder or third-party logistics (3PL) provider.
Familiarity with trade compliance documentation including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and country of origin requirements.
Experience with TMS (Transportation Management System) or ERP platforms.
Background in medical device, consumer products, or beauty industry logistics.
Knowledge of international shipping regulations and Incoterms.
Primarily office-based role with extended periods of sedentary computer work.
Occasional visits to the warehouse or shipping dock to coordinate freight activities.
Standard mobility required for cross-functional meetings and carrier interactions.
