This is a pivotal role for an experienced lawyer, who thrives under pressure and sets the highest standards of excellence. Working closely with the Brand and Community team, you will support their initiatives by delivering world-class legal services at speed, while innovating the future by creating business affairs and compliance automation processes. What you'll do

Strategic Impact

Be a trusted advisor for Marketing, Social Media, Sports Marketing, Community, Events & Production, and Loyalty.

Support on advice and legal documents related to campaigns, events, content production, ambassadors and other brand and community initiatives.

Build deep relationships across the business; anticipate needs and deliver solutions before issues arise.

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of lululemon's business and products, as well as the industry areas you serve-including e-commerce, social media, endorsements and sports marketing.

Operational Excellence

Negotiate and draft complex agreements: endorsement, sponsorship, influencer/creator, brand partnerships and collaborations, co-branding/licensing, production, and experiential campaigns.

Design and scale contract review and clearance programmes that handle large volumes with precision and speed, leveraging AI and automated tools to innovate workflows and knowledge systems.

Support claims clearance, social media compliance, and new programme development (e.g., NIL, influencer initiatives), ensuring global guidelines work seamlessly in regional jurisdictions.

Deliver education training and drive programmatic changes that transform Business Affairs and marketing legal support.

Be a connection point for cross-functional partners and the broader legal team members.

Qualifications

J.D./LL.M

Active Bar membership in the US or Canada

5+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience

Exceptional communication and influencing skills; ability to simplify complexity and inspire confidence

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $164,400 - $215,800 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and subject to program eligibility requirements.
