Full Job Description

The US Cell Therapy Commercialization Learning team is currently seeking a talented training professional who possesses the skills needed to ensure both the immediate and long-term success of our training organization.  The selected candidate for this position will report into the Associate Director. The US Cell Therapy Commercialization Learning, with accountability for product and disease training for the Cell Therapy Account Management Team and US Hematology Sales Force. These activities include the design, development and execution of training assets for new hire training, brand updates, selling skills, new product launches, competitive product launches, POA meetings and Field Readiness Meetings

This Senior Manager position is a headquarters-based position and reports to the US Cell Therapy Commercialization Learning Associate Director. The Sr Manager will work collaboratively across a fast paced and complex matrix organization including the Cell Therapy and Hematology/Oncology Business Units, the US Field Enablement Team, and the WW Centre of Excellence. This role will also coordinate with a fast-paced and complex matrix organization, which includes with colleagues from several functions (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Account Management, Strategy and Operations, Medical, Legal, Compliance, etc.) consistently addressing business needs to ensure we deliver on our objective of demonstrating value to both customers and patients while also improving how we work.In addition to the above-mentioned initiatives the role will be responsible for evaluating ongoing Commercial Training needs and recommend appropriate strategies, tactics and budget planning process for assigned products.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with training colleagues, Sales, Operations, Marketing leadership, and preceptors consistently implementing results-focused, performance-based, standardized training and development processes.

  • Strategic planning and development of a comprehensive sales training curriculum for use during training classes, POAs and other national/regional/district meetings.

  • Coordination and alignment across the matrix and cross-functional team to ensure all training materials meet the goals and objectives of both Sales and Marketing.

  • Ensure training resources (e.g. materials, workshops, infographics/job aids, etc.) meet all regulatory, legal and compliance requirements for assigned individual projects and initiatives.

  • Deployment and delivery of a curriculum inclusive of selling skills, clinical disease state knowledge, competitor and market landscapes.

  • Work with and/or manage external vendors and internal personnel to ensure the successful design and execution of assigned training programs and projects.

  • Assess and analyze the effectiveness of assigned training programs and initiatives utilizing Kirkpatrick Model

  • Identify and utilize innovative technologies to facilitate adult learning and pull-through of both live and virtual training capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; Master’s degree preferred

  • 5 years pharmaceutical industry experience required

  • Cell Therapy Training or Field experience preferred

  • Demonstrated curriculum design and understanding of adult learning principles including previous experience leading workshops

  • Effective communication, facilitation, and presentation skills

  • Proven performance with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals

Compensation Overview:

Madison - Giralda - NJ - US: $148,750 - $180,250 Princeton - NJ - US: $148,750 - $180,250

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

  • Phoenix, AZ, Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt, Non-Exempt, Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval, 11 national holidays, and 3 optional holidays

Based on eligibility*, additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time, up to 2 paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.

All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.

*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible.
