The Senior Lead QA/QC Engineer is responsible for establishing, overseeing, and continuously improving quality standards across all projects and all phases, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and regulatory requirements. This role conducts audits, and assist his Line Manager in developing the Project Quality Plan and any other Project Quality Documentation for ensuring the successful and safe turn over and completion of systems, in collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.

Working closely with internal department leaders, subcontractors, and clients, this position supports projects across Engineering and Design, Procurement, Subcontracting, Commercial, Project Management, Construction, and Commissioning. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to complex projects across diverse industries while ensuring alignment with Exyte's internal policies, strategies, client specifications, and local regulations.

The Senior Lead QA/QC Engineer is accountable for managing the Quality program to ensure comprehensive project execution, delivering superior quality and achieving customer satisfaction.

  • Quality Management System: Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and project standards.
  • Project Set up: Act as the primary point of contact for quality management during project initiation. Ensure quality obligations are integrated into project plans, including Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Project Execution Plans (PEP). Align quality activities with operations, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
  • Audit & Compliance: Plan, organize, and execute internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with client-specific standards such as Aramco or ADNOC and other applicable regulatory requirements. Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
  • Project Reviews & Safety: Participate in project safety, operability, and technical reviews, providing quality-related guidance and recommendations. Support risk management through proactive identification of quality and compliance issues.
  • Project Closeout: Ensure all quality deliverables are completed and compliant for final project handover. Coordinate the Customer Satisfaction Survey and report outcomes to capture client feedback. Drive lessons-learned sessions to improve future project execution. Mentor and coach QA/QC staff, promoting best practices and professional development.
  • Lead inspection teams and ensure timely documentation and reporting of CSA, MEP, AFO, and other quality records.
  • Collaborate with clients and subcontractors to resolve quality issues efficiently.
  • Interfaces and manages the coordinated Quality Meetings with the Stakeholders, Process Owners, sub-contractors, etc.
  • Identifies deviation and non-conformities and participates in the process of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Organize regular progress and dedicated meetings

Show your expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (the required education degree may be substituted by extensive professional experience involving similar work responsibilities and/or additional training certificates in relevant domains)
  • Datacenter Projects background is a must.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Quality Management in construction companies
  • Multidisciplinary experience in Quality Management; Civil, Structural Steel, Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Electrical and Instrumentation, Process, AFO, with ensuring that QA/QC activities are performed aligned with Project standards, specifications, local regulations and laws, international standards, and aligned with Client needs.

Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards national and local

Scheduling knowledge and construction sequencing of large projects

Essential:

Demonstrated experience in multidiscipline (CSA, MEP, AFO) Quality Assurance and Quality Control management in Datacenters Project

Quality roles in complex projects with multi-national collaboration, managing risks and costs, and reporting on progress to manage projects or initiatives within the boundaries of human, system performance, quality and financial constraints.

Inclusive leadership (maintaining a healthy working environment), with a high level of headship to motivate results defined for the given project and to contribute to the development of needed skills.

Stakeholder management: building strong partnerships and working collaboratively with all Project stakeholders proactively initiating solutions-oriented proposals to reach consensus.

Desirable:

High-level strategic negotiation skills with multi-national internal and external partners, including the willingness to solicit and consider varying inputs and opinions, to make appropriate recommendations and tough decisions aligned with the Exyte project's objectives.

Willingness and ability to travel and stay on-site for extended periods as required by project needs
