The Senior Key Accounts Manager is responsible for maximizing Murata's Hyperscaler/Cloud Service Provider (CSP) market share and sales opportunities within a major strategic account by promoting product growth, developing customer relationships, and driving account execution. This position is accountable for business creation, design wins, and customer satisfaction through trust, strong communication, and high-quality solutions.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

  • Develops, communicates, and executes customer account strategy by leading and coordinating cross-functional teams across regions, business units, and functions.
  • Develops and implements business plans to achieve strategic objectives by maximizing sales, revenue, profitability, and Murata's position within the Hyperscaler/CSP market.
  • Acts as a key customer contact and negotiator during business discussions, leveraging strong problem-solving, communication, and influence skills.
  • Facilitates pricing coordination with product management and various company business units.
  • Manages assigned account activities and drives the design-win process.
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships across commercial, technical, sourcing, and operational stakeholders.
  • Captures and communicates voice-of-customer insights to support product roadmap planning and future business creation.
  • Drives new product development engagement by coordinating internal stakeholders, aligning customer requirements, and maintaining clear communication with customers.
  • Uses market intelligence, customer feedback, and sales data to identify growth opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Presents account updates, opportunities, and challenges clearly to internal stakeholders and management.
  • Demonstrates leadership presence, accountability, and initiative while influencing teams without direct authority.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, marketing, account management, or business development in an electronics-related or technical industry.
  • Understanding of the Hyperscaler/CSP, data center, connectivity, networking, or infrastructure market.
  • Experience working for a culturally diverse global company.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies and effectively collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives without direct authority.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced negotiation and consultative skills, including communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical curiosity and passion for understanding customer needs, market trends, and product opportunities.


How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • MBA, advanced business degree, or technical degree.
  • Experience with Hyperscaler, cloud service provider, data center, connectivity, networking, or infrastructure customers.
  • Previous manufacturing sales experience, particularly in electronic components.
  • Project management experience with a track record of driving cross-functional results.

Minimum Salary: $97,894

Maximum Salary: $162,259
