Job SummaryWe are seeking a Senior KDB+ Developer to design, build, and maintain critical applications supporting regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes.
This role involves hands-on development, as well as participation in architecture, design, and analysis activities.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions that meet strict regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain applications for regulatory reporting across multiple asset classes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Participate in architecture, design, and analysis of complex systems
- Develop and support high-performance, scalable applications using KDB+ and related technologies
- Implement and maintain deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Work within Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban for project delivery
- Integrate applications using RESTful microservices and event-driven architectures
- Ensure application reliability, performance, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Utilize source control and version management for feature-driven development
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues across systems
Required Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in software development with expertise in KDB+, Java, and/or Python
- Strong experience working in Linux environments with Bash scripting
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with REST microservices architecture
- Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with source control systems such as Git, Bitbucket, or similar tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Apache Kafka or other event streaming platforms
- Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or React
- Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Kubernetes, Maven, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Artifactory, API registries, or automated deployment tools
