Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with 7+ years of experience in the Java/JEE ecosystem within an Agile environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on development experience and expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications. Experience with modern backend technologies, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions is highly desirable. A strong background in the Angular framework is required.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java/J2EE and modern backend technologies.
Develop and maintain applications using Java 17+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Microservices.
Design and implement microservices and event-driven architectures.
Develop and consume RESTful and SOAP web services.
Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
Develop and maintain frontend components using Angular, ExtJS, JSP, and JavaScript as required.
Work with MongoDB, Oracle, IBM DB2, SQL, and relational database systems.
Apply Hibernate and database design principles to develop efficient and scalable applications.
Develop and maintain unit tests using JUnit and other applicable testing frameworks.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and collaborate with distributed teams.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
Contribute to application architecture, design decisions, and technical documentation.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and distributed development teams.

Required Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
Strong experience with Java 17+, Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Microservices.
Strong expertise in Microservices Architecture and experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
Strong experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and SOAP/REST web services.
Strong experience with the Angular framework.
Experience with ExtJS, JSP, and JavaScript.
Experience with Hibernate.
Strong understanding of database design and optimization.
Experience with MongoDB, Oracle, IBM DB2, SQL, and RDBMS concepts.
Experience with JUnit and unit testing frameworks.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively within distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the Drools Framework.
Knowledge of the AngularJS Framework.
Experience with Bitbucket.
Experience working with JIRA.
Experience working with AWS.
