Senior IT Virtual Assistant Technologist opportunity.
Position OverviewAs a Senior IT Virtual Assistant Technologist, you will work directly with Global Manufacturing stakeholders to design, develop, and support high-quality, secure, and scalable Virtual Assistant solutions aligned with business needs and overall IT strategy.
You'll collaborate with IT technology teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to plan, implement, integrate, and support Virtual Assistant platforms and related initiatives.
A Day in the Life- Evaluate, design, develop, and modify middleware applications using AWS and hyperautomation technologies, as well as front-end applications including web chat and widgets.
- Develop and support API integrations with Azure AI Services.
- Create system design documentation, including GUI designs when required.
- Develop, code, test, debug, and troubleshoot applications.
- Assist with migration planning and system implementation activities.
- Recommend improvements to development, maintenance, and system standards for tenant solutions and the overall Virtual Assistant platform.
- Troubleshoot application issues, correct program errors, and develop operating and support documentation.
- Collaborate with Network teams on implementation of DNS and F5 Load Balancers.
- Monitor the performance, availability, and overall health of the Virtual Assistant platform.
- Integrate applications and Large Language Models (LLMs) using REST APIs.
Required Qualifications & Skills- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with:
- Node.js
- Vue.js
- Socket.IO
- Docker
- TypeScript
- Experience with Conversational AI and Generative AI preferred.
- Familiarity with network infrastructure, including firewalls, DNS, and F5 Load Balancers.
- Strong understanding of Git and CI/CD deployment using Jenkins and/or GitHub.
- Experience with AWS and Azure technologies, including:
- AWS ECS
- AWS Fargate
- RDS
- PostgreSQL
- CloudFormation
- S3
- CloudFront
- Experience integrating applications through REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Contact Center Cloud technologies and Virtual Assistants.
- Experience working in an Agile project delivery environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to create, understand, and maintain technical documentation.
