JOB SUMMARY:The Senior IT Technician (SR Tech) is responsible for advanced IT support across office and active construction jobsite environments, including endpoint support, applications, connectivity, security enforcement, and jobsite technology lifecycle support. This role serves as an escalation resource for complex technical issues, supports regional IT operations, and helps maintain reliable, standardized, and secure technology environments.
SALARY RANGE: $85,000.00 - $105,000.00 annually (companywide)

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for endpoints, mobile devices, applications, infrastructure components, cloud services, and core business systems across office and jobsite environments.
- Coordinate jobsite technology setup, support, troubleshooting, and demobilization, including temporary connectivity, equipment deployment, vendor coordination, and site infrastructure needs.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues involving Windows devices, VPN, identity, endpoint security agents, Microsoft 365, Egnyte, and related business platforms.
- Act as an IT information hub to ensure continuity of support between users, jobsites, vendors, regional IT staff, and IT leadership.
- Assist with hardware provisioning, deployment, inventory, and lifecycle support for laptops, peripherals, mobile devices, and networking equipment.
- Support user onboarding and offboarding activities, including account creation, access changes, and account termination as assigned.
- Enforce endpoint security standards including MFA, disk encryption, patching, antivirus/EDR tools, Zero Trust controls, and related policy requirements.
- Support Microsoft 365, Azure AD/identity services, Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, remote access, and networking utilities as needed.
- Monitor jobsite connectivity, coordinate issue resolution with vendors or internal teams, and assist with connectivity-related billing review as assigned.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, SOPs, knowledge base articles, and jobsite setup or teardown procedures.
- Serve as an escalation resource and mentor for IT Technicians; partner with IT leadership on regional initiatives, pilots, rollouts, and standardization efforts.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of business needs and the essential functions of the role.
QUALIFICATIONS:- 5+ years of hands-on IT support experience, including senior-level responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, identity services, endpoint management, and common business applications.
- Experience supporting endpoint security tools and standards, including MFA, EDR/antivirus, encryption, patching, and access controls.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently in both office and field environments.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing requests and respond with appropriate urgency.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of technical issues from identification through resolution while coordinating effectively with users, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work in active construction jobsites, including navigating uneven or rough terrain and adapting to dynamic site conditions.
- Experience with networking technologies including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, internet connectivity, and Ubiquiti UniFi solutions is preferred.
- Experience with ITSM platforms such as Freshservice or Zendesk is preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly to offices and jobsites as required.
